Perraud Wonder Goal Sends Saints Through | Southampton 3-1 West Ham | Emirates FA Cup 21-22

- Saints took the lead with a Romain Perraud wonder strike to put Southampton in the lead, West Ham equalised on the hour mark with a Willy Caballero mistake that was pounced upon by Michail Antonio. James Ward-Prowse penalty put the Saints back in front and an Armando Broja goal in added time confirmed Southampton’s place in the last eight of the Emirates FA Cup.

That VAR call was terrible. Broja pulled Dawson back to win the initial ball. How is that not factired in? Should have been a free kick to West Ham.

No, if it's a lower-body foul where the defender attempts to make a play on the ball (as was the case here) it is not a red card if it is inside the penalty area. This avoids the triple-penalty (red card, penalty kick, suspension) when trying to play the ball. Outside the penalty area it would still be a red card if it denies the obvious goal-scoring opportunity.

Time to get a new editor FA, highlights are way too long. Why show multiple clips checking for offside when it was a miss anyway? There's loads of other pointless clips in it too, just make it more watchable and shorten the highlights like Sky and BT do.
