The Hercules brand is very good! Like you, I love V-groove wrenches. I have a MAC (USA) set from the 1980's & the long Pittsburgh sets.

Torque Test Channel has proved the v notch design doesn't do anything. Just FYI. But if it's an aesthetic thing then by all means getem

I have the Hercules 1/4 long reach. I love it works great. I do lawnmower repair as a side gig and use it daily and no problem. I have had it about a year and a half.

Hey Justin, I’ve got a Hercules long neck 3/8 ratchet I’d be willing to send you to try out before you buy one

Justin, the Chief air tool line is outstanding and I’ve got two Welders from them, a titanium flux deal and the big Vulcan 215, they are outstanding. Now while I respect your opinion, I have a top/bottom 56” gen2 us General box and I just don’t have enough space. It needs to be 4” deeper and have another full width drawer.

Love my Hercules long neck 3/8 ratchet. Use it for everything now. Held up great for about a year and a half now. It's definitely got more torque than my brushed 3/8 Milwaukee so I don't even use that or any hand ratchets anymore unless I have to. Definitely worth giving it a try. I'd like to see how it would hold up under daily professional use.

I love the look of v notch wrenches. I have older 4 way angle Cornell wrenches and they have the v notch. I agree, I’d love to see some new varieties with it.

I have two Icon ratchets, both flex head, in 1/4 and 3/8. Love them so far. I am a shade tree mechanic maintaining my 3 vehicles and 2 for my sons plus a tractor and two lawnmowers. I have also had great luck with Pittsburgh sockets. I have never had one fail. The Quin locking pliers are good also. On the battery powered tool side I am Dewalt. I have a fortune in Dewalt batteries so I only buy Dewalt cordless tools that use the same batteries. I really appreciate your opinion on Harbor Freight tools. I like knowing what tools you consider to be of good quality.

In my experience, Icon is by far the best value. Even though they're not quite as good as my Snap On, they are very close. I'd say 90-95%.

I read a comment from someone on the Den of Tools the other day about Harbor Freight being the new “Sears” nowadays and after some thought I would reckon to say the Feller had a good point. But, for a better “Craftsman” hand tool I would go with Tekton.

I've had an icon socket split on me, but it was an easy warranty for me. It was one of their original sockets when they 1st came out. But I've had other brands break on me including Tekton and Gearwrench. It happens.

No complaints with Pittsburg, icon, no complaints with sockets or impacts sockets. Use icon ratchets in1/2 snap on on 1/4 3/8 . Happy with my decisions.. impact socket I have switch to GP and sunex gear wrench 🔧. Thanks for the video.✌️ and Mac tools usa for engine work

I’m definitely interested in seeing the Icon Torque wrenches also how the icon ratchets last over time. I have a ratchet and it’s ok but it skips and it doesn’t feel balanced.

I only had problem with my long handle, fixed head 3/8. All the rest are nearly as good as my Snap On.

My snap-on sockets are nice but I worry about splitting them. I've split my 1/2 inch , 9/16 , 15mm and 13mm. I bought a whole set of icons and haven't had them split yet. Both icon and snapons are 3/8 drive 6 point chromies.

I currently own 2 Lincoln welders and I’m thinking about adding another

Steer clear if you want to weld consistently. If you are just playing and tinkering in your home garage, then the Harbor Freight will do it for you. I'm a career welder and swear by Lincoln....

I've recently been hooked on Hercules. Removed a power steering pump and lines using the Hercules long reach cordless ratchet yesterday. I can't believe I waited this long before grabbing a cordless ratchet. Removing hose clamps and brackets was a breeze. Also, the HF shop presses are really nice. I love my 44" US General and 2 end lockers. It sucks that I heard they're not making a hutch for it.

I’ve purchased tools from Harbor Freight, ex: 1/2” drive extendable ratchet from Pittsburg which I used to break oil drain plugs, lug nut flip socket set for approx. $15/ $11 on sale when I started as a live tech. Harbor Freight has some good tools to start with. I also owned the 5 drawer tech cart which is also an excellent starter cart. Capri long reversible wrenches have V-notch on the open end open side which sometimes I converted them into ratchets using the Snap-On ratchet adapters(1/2” drive into 19mm, 3/8” drive into 16mm & 1/4” drive into 13mm wrenches). Glad you’re back to automotive content.🔧⚒️🧰
