Their debut album is just great!!! Not one bad song. Late 80s is when they released their first album with their hits "Don't Treat Me Bad", "All She Wrote", and "Love of a Lifetime". Other great songs from their debut album include "Rock on the Radio", "Overnight Sensation", "Oughta be a Law", "Helpless", etc. Also saw them live once in the early 1990s. Great band live!!!
All She Wrote is probably their best song. And their guitarist, Bill Leverty, is actually pretty amazing...has some great solo and instrumental stuff....
@@Hangryoldman I have to respectfully disagree... In my opinion, everything else in their catalog is just rehashed pop-metal garbage... Lyrically horrible. Shake and Tumble....really? Dont Treat Me Bad... ugh. All She Wrote was kind of a serious, darker toned song that was just amazing compared to their other stuff. There is no comparison.
Great band. Seen them at least 7 times, most recently last year. Still sound tight live and CJ Snares vocals are still just as good as back in the day. Have met them 6 times, all were very friendly. Bill Leverty the guitar player always took time to talk and sign autographs. The 2nd time I met him we talked for about 20 mins about hockey since he and I both play, and everytime after that he always remembered me even going years in between shows. The definitely care about their fans.

I was 9 when their best album came out...maybe 10 or 11 when I heard it on my Uncle Ron's horrid system in his pontiac firebird. Regardless...incredible band. Peaked many times...but somehow underrated in the long term. These guys were something else
This band was formed from two bands in the 1980s white heat and max warrior from North Carolina under rated very popular in Japan. I knew the guitar player, Bill Leverty, he worked in Richmond Virginia. They are good people. Thanks for playing it. Hope this helps.

All the songs mentioned below are brilliant but my favourite is a non single called 'Sleeping With You' (Electric Version) from the Hold You Fire album. They are still playing live touring the States. Everyone mentions that the first 2 albums are the best. They are also their heaviest. I also really like their their fifth release from 1998 called Category 5. More mellow than previous albums but still really good.

Lol, you young men. I've been a firehouse fan ever since they came out. They are awesome in concert. Met them in person yesrs ago in okc, Oklahoma, sweet guys. Rock isn't what it used to be when i was younger. 😊
I've seen then live probably about 15 years ago and they sounded just the same recorded as live so they had so much talent. Them and Steelheart would have been so big if they started just like 5 years earlier before Nirvana changed rock music
One of Bill Leverty's more technical guitar solo the guy is so good, His magic is he makes everything look and sound so melodic and easy, but not. . Mike Fosters drums have always been perfect too. This entire band is a very solid talented legit band. They sadly just didn't get their break till about the time Grunge was changing the scene. These guys still tour the bass player here though is now with the band Stryper though. But yes they're incredible live, there's some great Firehouse live video's taken from dvd's etc. If you want to see how good they are live.

they would've been a lot bigger if they'd come along about 5 years earlier. grunge and alt-rock was taking over in the early 90's. it was kind of a weird time for bands like Firehouse and a few others trying to fit in. did see them live with Warrant and Trixter around '92. they were good.

I saw them live just before the album was released and they played this. Saw them in 1992 open for Tesla. Great show. Both bands sounded great live.

I seen that tour, Tesla gave a terrible performance, The crowd all wanted Firehouse back on stage!

The bass player plays for stryper now. Firehouse sounds better live.
Bad timing for this band, grunge hit and killed any momentum they had. Solid band and solid musicians with a great lead singer.
