McCartney is such a precise singer. This man is truly a treasure

It's sad because he WAS a precise singer. That truely amazing, wonderful, precise young voice has sadly left him now that he is in his late 70s. He just does not have that voice anymore and it's that is extremely sad.

      Isn’t the main voice Lennon

His diction was always so good. Most pop/rock songs have gaps in one's understanding of the lyrics. Sometimes Paul's singing has that problem, but it's rare. They all had good diction. Probably old school George Martin at work training them.

What´s got Lennon to do with this song? Right: nothing.

That picture is great. Paul is obviously showing them the song; John playing a D6, the main chord of this song.

brüh his middle finger is on the g string and his fourth finger is on high e string. Both on third fret. More than likely a D6 chord. As I said, the main chord in this song. It’s a given. Just enjoy the music and stop fussing over it :)

    • @bruh-fl3mo
      @bruh-fl3mo 4 ปีที่แล้ว

Bobby Jewel dude im not fussing over it. Plus i said you were right, just that you cant tell that from looking at pauls hands like you said in your original comment. And yes john is playing a d6 chord. Never said you were wrong

Paul's piano compositions were basically very simple, but he is the master of melody which catches the very Soul and emotion of humans.

The story of this song is more important than the song.
The experience was had by both Paul and John at different times, but Paul had witness.
"Alistair Taylor, in his book Yesterday, reports a mysterious incident involving a man who inexplicably appeared near him and McCartney during a walk on Primrose Hill and then disappeared again, soon after McCartney and Taylor had conversed about the existence of God. In Taylor's account, this incident prompted McCartney to write "The Fool on the Hill".[5]
McCartney played the song for John Lennon during a writing session for "With a Little Help from My Friends" in March 1967.[6] At this point, McCartney had the melody but the lyrics remained incomplete until September.[7] Lennon told him to write it down; McCartney said he did not need to, because he was sure he would not forget it.[8] In his 1980 interview with Playboy magazine, Lennon said, "Now that's Paul. Another good lyric. Shows he's capable of writing complete songs."[9].
The story gets a lot more involved in other accounts."The Fool" asking Paul about his feelings
about life and WHY he (Paul) thought he had been "chosen" Paul seems to leave that out as
    "Too Mystic"

A song I always loved, a song that made me feel like spinning round, round and round every time I listened to It, and makes you want to go to the Hill and ambrace the fool and tell him he's not alone! And it's not one of the famous Beatles's songs. I never understood why.

I adored this song, when I first heard it as a kid, in the Sixties, when it was first released. I have a political cartoon, somewhere of British Prime Minister John Major as The Fool On The Hill, published in the Nineties.❤️

Extensive use of ADT happening thanks to the engineers at EMI and the Beatle's requests. ADT changed recording forever and literally everyone in the world recording audio uses it.

True but "Maybe you're amazed" at just how good a manual double tracker PM is. The Live and Let Die single (45 rpm) was manually double tracked - he's that good. I'm not arguing that The Fool On The Hill isn't double tracked, just fyi.

I loved Paul, but I have noticed as he has aged, he has lost some of his voice. Which is normal. There are a few, his age that have been blessed to keep their young voice.

Jamie, opera singers normally retire with about 60 years. Paul is nearly 80 now. What do you expect? It´s sad, but natural.

Faul is "The Fool on The Hill" a man with a thousand voices. There's only about a hundred people who know what our music is about- John Lennon. The clues are all over the place, you just need your eyes and ears to know they are there!
