@@ofnaguycarlwatts8602 I appreciate that, looking forward to getting running again, broke the pull start and just haven't been down to my hobby store to pick up a few various items! Got a new body I've got to paint and what not...66 mustang
That’s the troubles we all get with Traxxas carbs. I wouldn’t ever use a stock carb ever again after a good 5 in a row didn’t tune well. I just got the OS 11 k carb and ohhhh my what a massive difference in start ups and with low idle and low torque. I can’t explain how much better the carb made the engine. It made it run like a nitro engine is supposed to run. I hope you get one there one day soon 👊☺️
I appreciate that! When I finally get to buying something new or like a carburetor I'm keeping this in mind because I definitely would like to see the difference. I mean, I'm pretty happy with what I'm getting for tuning with these so to have something even better will be marvelous!!!
@@MR.B.1620 I have been very busy learning the ins and outs making the experience the best I can. In my experience the traxxas carbs only close to a point then they run like crap. The idle on your car needs to be raised by the screw just enough that under full brake it doesn’t stop Ohh the reason it’s not staring is your tune is on point but your idle is closed to much. Sort that idle gap and all will fall into place My carbs just the same. Until I switched it out and Bam 100 percent difference. Loads of power all through the band 👍👍🙏☺️
It runs pretty good ounce it gets going ,if that is Traxxas fuel that you are using then that could be the issue ,Traxxas fuel has way too much oil content ,maybe hard to get a good tune off of it for idling! Nice run ,I was waiting for a tree to jump out in front of it!..😂👍
I haven't used their fuel at all. I'm using VP racing 20% with 9% oil. I've got some 30% with 8% oil to get rid of sometime but apparently that's more tuning. Good learning experience I'm sure hahahahaha. Thank you
@@fcbaker65 well, I got it to run and drive hahahaha. But I've still got to dial it in. I'm going to put a couple more tanks of VP 20% and then try to tune to the sidewinder 30%
Hard rains here all week. My yards a big mess. Hopefully Sun comes out tomorrow and I’ll get fuel for the Revo. Where’s the hose clamp on the controller? Lol
It's ok we understand.youre looking at a truck.engine is a Nitro and it runs off of water. Any more ❓❓ we'll be glad to answer them.oh you control them with a yoyo TC 👊💯 Glen L
Good looking truck, nice video, bro 👊
Glad you like it!!
Nice Mr B ‼️

It's sidewinder fuel, 30%. May go ahead and make the adjustment and burn it off, almost a quart.
@@MR.B.1620 Ok ,gotcha ,you just really havent done any tuning on the engine yet!..😎👍

I do that to the Traxxas controller because the steering wheel is further away than this one lol.
@@MR.B.1620 Yeah. I was wondering how you do that one handed…. Lol
