The LPD fell way too far from grace with their unnecessary policies in today's age. It's a roleplay group not an IRL thing, if they don't stop treating it like that then the LPD will never recover to the glory days that they once had. Some, not all but some of their moderation team have been treating the LPD like their livelihood and it's a good thing and a bad thing at the same time.

I'm pretty sure that that the Loli Police Department was sued by a user called ZoranTheBear for violating his rights, which resulted in the LPD being found guilty on most of the charces. This happened 3 years ago.

Used to roll with them quit around the time Hroi retired and I gotta say they were alot of fun to hang out with, they have a great community and they are pretty newbie friendly (you gotta have some chops when it comes to improv)
I once got arrested by them. I was roleplaying as Jataro from Danganronpa, and I got arrested for Weed. Then I got taken and was forced to sing the birthday song to someone while getting my photo taken
As an LPD Officer i can say if you need something new in vrchat than the LPD is the best place for you. You always find new people there and the events are the funiest and coolest i ever seen on vrchat.
im actually a part of Cerberus we're basically the PMC of the metaverse and if u dont know what that is thats a whole bag on its own but we have a weekly meeting where things usually happen... usually bad... but we also do stand alone missions sometimes and it is a lot of fun in my opinion
Oh yeah I know the LPD so much, I once got caught in the bar bringing outside food, I tried to escape but got cornered wall slam me and start reading my rights "you have the right to remain eating, anything you do will be cute etc etc". I like the idea of the LPD coming back, that each president its there for just a year until election comes every year, a new person and a new take sounds fun it reminds me of how Super Sentai and Kamen Rider does it ( a season of 45-50 episodes each year, doing a new theme every year )

We are a very relaxed community that mainly focuses on our mutual love for Star Wars, especially the Clone Wars era. We're always looking for new members to join. I used to have events with LPD back in 2018. It's a fun community. We never finished the Silent Hill campaine tho. People playing as the monsters walking around the city was really fun.

I was never a part of the LPD, but I was/am still a part of the military rp communities in VRChat. Of course, we have conversed with the LPD before, and since I am a veteran player, I have seen/ even been to their base numerous times (my friend got arrested by them once lolol) I considered trying them out at one point, but I'm so used to the much heavier rp side of VRChat, I just never bothered to try them out. XD
tbh, I've had mixed experiences with the LPD, a couple of times they been pretty fun. They arrested one of my friends and we even went to court to try defend him (I was a pretty bad defense lawyer). More recently though, I've run into some really toxic members. I get the feeling they've become too big for them to properlly monitor who they are letting in. Sadly, its made me lose a lot of respect for them
They have the issue that every single community will ever have. Once it moves past the first group of like 100 max, who are very close to each other usually through shared live of what they do, then the toxic people join and stuff. It’s sad but inevitable unless you intentionally prevent any more members from joining after reaching a certain hard cap.
I’d suggest reaching out to the staff team on discord if you have a complaint about specific members. The LPD is meant to be a lighthearted and fun community. There’s no room for toxicity.
