Nice views and lots of good trail, things have changed quickly since the snow of a couple of weeks ago. As for elevation and snow traveling skills, remember that everything you are hiking now is training for the rest of the hike in the Sierra and possibly a late September trek in Washington. Thanks for sharing with us!
Loving following you on trail again this year. Wanted to say, you got me hooked on First Aid Kit from your AT thru hike...got to see them in Philadelphia! Thanks for taking us along with you. From on GA guy to another!
Little snow demon I guess, daring someone to step there. Micro spikes are okay to walk on intermittent dirt trails. If you are walking on solid rock , do inspect them as the little chain links can start to open up. Yep , I would use them in that slope.
The "Rockslide" area actually had a rather large boulder on the trail a few years back. That's how that particular area got its name. Passable at the time, but pretty dangerous. Here's a link to a video that shows the explosion th-cam.com/video/Zy81nDrcpcc/w-d-xo.html Best of luck on your continued journey. I enjoy your videos. 👍
Good call flipping around! It appears to be significantly less snow around Apache since we were there.

Hey Russ! The bright green on the rocks is a lichen. A bunch of us at EP people at Digi are following along and wishing you well! - Tam
So glad you are back on trail. I appreciate your video, almost, like almost makes me feel like I am along….
How are you feeling? Glad you wore your spikes!

What were the bars you liked on the AT again? I tried them and loved them but can’t remember what they were called. Glad you stayed safe out there!
Good job getting through the San Jacinto's. I assume you are hiking alone at the moment.
Don't get off trail.

When comparing the AT and PCT, HikingDancer said the PCT has been way more dangerous! So be careful out there but thanks for taking us along!
Yes, absolutely but don't worry #2 has more than 9 lives and he doesn't even know it. The trail will provide and look after pencils.

Hey Brother, Kroger or Publix?
Happy you don't have music in your Video, so you hear the silence.
Beautiful views but dangerous! 🤯 Glad you had spikes with you! Be careful and hike on! 🙏🧗♀️🥾🏕️
