I know I'm going to get crucified for saying this but I like Dillinger's newer material. It's not always in your face. Like life it's chaotic at parts, but there are also points of softness, feeling and emotion. It's cool

They're definitely going out with a bang. I saw them for the first time the other day at their last Sydney show. Glad I had the opportunity just that once. It was like nothing I had ever seen. Only show that beat that in my mind (and for very personal reasons) was NIN in Sydney 2007.

Dillinger need to do more stuff like this. In this song the intricate guitar parts are accentuated and flow beautifully, where as in other songs its harder to hear what they are doing. Not saying they should throw away their hardcore punk roots, or get any less heavy, but maybe mix the sound with different genres like in "Setting Fire to Sleeping Giants" or "Mouth of Ghosts". Those are the songs that really show how genius this band is
they have a lot of Bond-ish songs in their discography, they just like this theme, and it's great, DEP integrated such elements very well into their music

I always thought Greg's voice is what you'd get when you combine Trent Reznor with Mike Patton... so fucking awesome
I was trying to describe his voice to someone the other day. I think you nailed it.
I'm total fucking agree. NIN and Faith No More are the two big influences in the band in my humble opinion
+AxG 666 I definitely agree with you.
Add a dash of Timberlake
Patton even has an entire EP with this band. So good.
Love it when Dillenger slows down for a second, really shows off their versatility and gives the listener a second to breathe and take in the atmosphere
Absolutely, I love the old dimitri escape plan as much as the next guy, but this is dark and beautiful. I love it.
I think it also helps make your notice just how superbly good they are as musicians.
His highs are so Patton-esque, I love this song!

OllieNorthMK Man, that EP is mind-blowing, I've already bought, now everything has sense to me haha.
More mrshadow-esque I'd say
First Dillinger song I've listened to and it's amazing how well the vocals and instrumentation blend so well
That blend is what Greg does so well. his voice is as much the song structure as what the drums or the base conjure up.

it may not be the best dillinger song ever, but it is certainly their best single for those who haven't heard them. I need to see them live.
This is amazing! Such profound anguish and piercing grief, it rattles me to my very core. Dillinger is, in my view, the greatest metal band ever.
