Jimi Hendrix was so musical and his technical ability was enough to put him in a league of his own. your (Mateus Asato) technical ability is off of the scale when compared to players like Jimi Hendrix, you have a great imagination, I don't know if it's fair to compare your imagination with Jimi's he was painting on a very fresh canvas, so he got to paint with a different set of brushes, while you have to use extra fine detail brushes. your ability to make everything musical is every bit as great as any guitarist I've ever heard. when you get to where you can sing on beat and play syncopated rhythms we we'll talk about your corination. I think you're close, keep up the great work.

You're partly right. He has some patterns indeed, but I don't think he's thinking his playing as licks but more as notes, he knows which notes can be used on a precise chord containing certain notes. It's all about knowledge and that's why he can improvise as much as he does.

Not sure if you ever got around to figuring it out but his exact pickups are Suhr ML single coils. Asatobucker Bridge Humbucker 5 years late but worth a try
