Hey Jason, would you make a video talking about running a successful photography / videography business. Maybe multiple episodes or a series. Such as how you started. What you learned. Important aspects. Pricing. Building. Etc.
hey Jason. I see you have Neewer Batteries. Are they for the Auxiliary gear or do you use non-sony brand batteries in your Sony cameras? I gather there can be problems for Sonys with them. choice>
Jason I shoot 1080p 50 and 100fps in 8 bit standard profile for social media - should I up that to 10 bit, will I notice the difference. So far Ive felt ok on these settings (Sony A7R5)
Only if you use s-log3 you will notice a difference when color grading. You may as well change to 10bit as the colors will just have more depth to it since the a7r5 is a great camera
How are you doing brother. I noticed @2:26 you have a very thin sdi cable attached. Is it 12g? Because I searched high and low for a thin 12g SDI/BNC cable that is not loaded with bad reviews . (Shape)
Computer engineer here. 32-bit float is a gimmick. It's still less than 24-bit fidelity, which is up to 140db dynamic range, they just convert it to 32-bit float, which is trivial conversion. 23 bits integer is a 32-bit float, they only convert the mantissa, which is a gimmick to say it's 32-bit or that a 32-bit ADC would benefit you. You are not recording jet planes up close here. The quality of the ESS 32-bit converters are just the best, but they are in fact only 24-bit ADCs.
I can understand where you are coming from. But if you’re a filmmaker like me and actually use these in practical applications it doesn’t not matter about the technical jargon. All that matters is that if my talent decides to laugh or raise their voice that it doesn’t clip the audio.
A title like this, keeps me away .... Today it's all about 10bit 4.2.2 , colorgrading and rigs. It doesn't matter what and how you film: you have to shoot in 10 bit LOG and have all the possible gadgets. Get a real life !

I'm actually saving to finally get it 1 day, I'll prob wait for V2.0 so the price goes ↓
Thanks for mentioning the Tri-Charge bro!
Tri-Charge is Money. Could use slightly stronger retention in v2, but def still a great solution.
@@fofopho Working on improving it as much as i can!
Thanks for watching brother
@@PeterLindgren1 Dude! It’s a great piece of kit. It made sense to me as soon as I saw it. Thank brother! You are doing great work.

I second that, as someone starting out that would be extremely helpful 🙏
Great idea. It’s a tough one as there are dozens of ways to get started and keep the momentum going.
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema agreed, but sometimes it’s all a bit overwhelming and even if it’s the basics on starting up, it would be extremely helpful 🙏
@@johnnyt4265 you’re right. I will see what I can do.
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema = legend.
Monitor + with a phone with a great display is a really nice and cheap alternative
and Ipad
Monitor plus is great for sure. Only thing I don’t like is having to use my phone as that usually where my shot list is 😅
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema haha I understand, that’s why I kept my old phone 😄
Please make a V/s video between Sirui Sniper series and Sigma series lenses.
5:40 Gh7 doesn't have 32bit in the handle. But in external seperatelly bought recorder
Oh really? 😮 thanks for commenting this. I haven’t got the GH7 yet for review
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema No problemo
Jason, suck dont blow!! Rig small diameter rubber hose line from home vac cleaner. Instrument repair techs use vacuum air lines 👍
What a good to use to view for instagram and it in post

I’ve got 3 main Sony batteries then three after market batteries

Is the DJI Mic 2 actually 32bit float? Last I checked it was 24bit...
it is 32 bit float. I have the Mic and Mic 2's from DJI. Mic 2 has been a gamechanger for me as a runner gunner
Yes 32 bit float when recording internally onto the device
magic arm with a dji pocket 3 is pretty awesome.
Oh nice. Certainly has a tonne of usages
Nice work sir
Most important is to get a Lumix camera. Way more popular than Sony. Great video!
😂😂 I’m going to surprise you in July..

Yes this one is 12G SDI.
Thanks for the tips
Thank you
love the blower lol
