That’s the English localization’s fault. It’s original Japanese name is Barrierd, which has no reference to gender in general. The other translations were then based on the english localization. Long story short, I like to nickname Mr. Mime’s Barrierd because it actually sounds cooler to me.

Most confusing for me? Male Mawile. That Pokemon is based on an exclusively female yokai from Japanese folklore (Futakuchi ONNA (woman)), yet unlike Froslass (who is 100% female due to being based on a yuki ONNA- another exclusively female yokai in Japanese folklore) has not a 75% chance (like Gothitelle) but a bigger 50% chance at being male. I could get past male Gardevoir is based on a cleric/Mage and some male mages in RPGs look feminine. Also male Selkies do exist, but are rarely mentioned so I'm ok with male Primarina.

That’s the English localization’s fault. It’s original Japanese name is Barrierd, which has no reference to gender in general. The other translations were then based on the english localization. Long story short, I like to nickname Mr. Mime’s Barrierd because it actually sounds cooler to me.

Most confusing for me? Male Mawile. That Pokemon is based on an exclusively female yokai from Japanese folklore (Futakuchi ONNA (woman)), yet unlike Froslass (who is 100% female due to being based on a yuki ONNA- another exclusively female yokai in Japanese folklore) has not a 75% chance (like Gothitelle) but a bigger 50% chance at being male.
I could get past male Gardevoir is based on a cleric/Mage and some male mages in RPGs look feminine. Also male Selkies do exist, but are rarely mentioned so I'm ok with male Primarina.

Contrary assist Beer team: use a contrary assist spinda called Beer if shiny even better since it looks like it had too much beer ,one smeargle with spore, trick room, spider web and oblivion wing so spinda can heal and get faster, the rest of the smeargles with moves that boost spinda if by +2 if possible.
You should do a full 2 turn move team. You can only use moves that require 2 turns to work. Some examples are: Solar Beam, Fly, Dive, Geomancy, Etc. Please like this comment so Pimpnite can see and try out this team.
