That fact is how we are able to print as much currency and take on unlimited amounts of debt. If that system falls our currency wont be worth the paper its printed on and THAT is why we turn a blind eye to anything the Saudis do.

It's why Libya was destroyed because Gaddafi wanted to sell oil in Euros and not dollars.
