    This is harrowing to see how conversion therapies thrives with impunity. Access to healthcare is so fundamental yet so distant.

    Wait Now. If gender roles and gender preferences are a social construct, like boys playing with cars and girls playing with dolls etc and etc. And if boys and girls are the same, then why call a girl who wants to play with boy toys or wants to wear boy clothes trans?? If gender roles and gender preferences are social construct then why??? See the contradiction here??

    • @sup4818
      @sup4818 3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Yes I get your point and I disagree with the parents who get their children transitioned at a very young age because their son was Playing with dolls. Children don't fully understand what it means to be trans. Parents can make temporary changes like letting their son wear frocks if he consistently says he feels like a girl, but I believe the permanent changes should not be done until the child is atleast 15-16 because gender disphoria is most prominent at that age and they become clear on their gender identity
      P.s the parents who say their child is trans because he plays with dolls are psuedo feminists and hypocrites

      @@sup4818 you partly understood my point. The other part is that if gender roles and gender preferences are social construct then transgenderism makes no sense. So either you have to admit that gender preferences are not a social construct and become an anti feminist or you have to admit that gender differences are a social construct, and become self delusiona and contradict yourself, because if they are social constructs then what's the difference between trans and cis man or woman they are all the same.
      Or you could admit that gender preferences are biological and gender is not a spectrum and solve the problem. Choice is yours...

    • @neilchatterjee6236
      @neilchatterjee6236 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Lol, gender roles preferences aren't a part of the "social construct". Genders are just a biological system of grouping population. And, "boys playing with caes and girls playing with dolls" are just stereotypes, again not "social construct".
      Playing with cars and dolls, doesn't have a gender. But, the body/mind of an individual does have gender. Thus, genders (trans and cis) exist.

      ‘Healed’ ‘normal lives’
      Are you calling lgbtq+ people sick and disabled or something?
      If you think this therapy works then you’re disgusting,truly. Those people went through trauma. Nobody needs that therapy,nobody deserves that therapy. Those people are just living their lives,NORMAL lives. Their sexuality and indentity doesn’t change the fact that they’re humans just like us. It doesn’t matter if someone changed who they are with this therapy,it should be illegal.

      If being gay or trans is completely normal, how come these people have considerably higher rates of depression, drug use and suicide? And that this doesn't lower even in the most of accepting countries in the world?
      The actual evidence shows that this is a dangerous lifestyle. As such it's no wonder that many people don't want to live that way. Why shouldn't these people be allowed access to therapy to accomplish their own goals?

      @@absolutelypitiful3837did you know that black people also had higher suicide numbers? Is being black not normal?

    not so hard in Thailand...why?
    The country is 95% Buddhist and the Buddhists do not have any great hatred or rejection of LGBTQ+ people in general.
    Unfortunately, things are often worse in other countries, where religious groups of all stripes show their hatred and contempt.
    Religions are often more of a curse than a blessing. Let's hope for a future in which more and more people distinguish humbug from reality and trade their knowledge in the spirit of more humanity and brotherhood
