I want to see Steve bless the food next time! How these videos get low views is beyond me. I love what you both come up with as topics! Yeah Pirate, id be up for that.
Yeah i don't think many people like the long form, too much video when they see it's 30+ minutes long. Always fun for us though... No blessings at these events, but I'd be happy to have you on for an interview!
7:41 There’s an ex con named Dubs, who has a prison channel of the same name that I watch. Him and his buddy Gunnerz Collective did a livestream all about crypto. Both guys have money in XRP and recommend it to their audience. Neither of em own gold.
Yeah, we'll see what transpires with it... For now I'm happy to diversify into several things, see how it goes. I need something for the future... But I for sure think Gold is a win and always will be!
PIRATE I WENT SCUBA DIVING FOR LOBSTERS IN KAUII WITH THE GUY THAT OWNED THE SCUBA SHOP AT MIDNIGHT HE GOT 6 OF EM I HELD THE FLASHLIGHT.WE WERE STONED AND I WAS FREAKING OUT BUT HE GOT THEM AND WE ATE WELL.HIS WIFE WAS PISSED LOL 1989?90? LOL BUT TRUE
That's crazy, my first time out spear fishing was 1989... it's creepy as heck out there at night! It's wild when it's lobster season and they'll cross net across an inlet and bring in 100+ lobsters in a night... all free!
The food challenge guys drink a lot of fluids and they eat a lot of stuff like water melon to stretch their stomachs ahead of time. There is definitely prep work involved. Anything beyond 3 to 4 lbs, basically requires prep work for everyone, outside of professional and/or semi-professional food challenge eaters. Joey Chestnut, Matt Stonie, Molly Schuyler, Joel Hansen, Randy Santel, etc... I've got a tone of baseball cards and comic books from the 80s that I need to get rid of. I just haven't gotten around to it. TSMC is not likely to get blown off the map for a number of reasons. #1 China is still dependent upon Taiwanese manufactured chips, and they will be for the foreseeable future. This is especially true at the 3 & 2 nanometer chip level, which are the most advanced and efficient chips being manufactured anywhere in the world. The Chinese, despite all of their bluster and military exercises, would be loathed to invade Taiwan and run the risk of blowing up those facilities. Those are such complicated facilities, it would take more than a decade to rebuild the plants and their capacity, which would bring a great deal of the world's economy to a screeching hault. So much of today's hardware requires regular maintenance and replacement to keep operating. Can you imagine if we suddently forced the world to go backward to technology that was 10 years old or more? Can you imagine the chaos that would ensue in virtually every industry in the world, especially banking and manufacturing? It would be a total disaster. If China invades Taiwan, it would almost have to be in either October or April because those are the only months when amphibious operations can be carried out, and it would have to involve an absolutely massive air component that China cannot yet sustain. They would have to carry out the invasion very quickly, to avoid the full arrival of American and multi-national forces, which means that they would have to have the island completely in-hand within about 48 to 72 hours at the most. If they go beyond the 72 hour mark, the number of US fighters, long range bombers, rapid dragon stand-off munitions deliveries, etc... would start to go off the charts and everything on the waters between China and Taiwan would be turned into molten metals hulks of Swiss cheese, to say nothing of the hundreds or even thousands of aircraft and helicopters that would be long to stand off missiles like the AMRAAM, AIM-260, and others. In addition, Taiwan has spent the better part of 2 decades preparing a number of weapon surprises for the Chinese. They have supersonic cruise missiles with a 1,500 to 2,000km range that could strike deep within China, and they've been building these missiles for years. They have even larger stockpiles of shorter range missiles that would turn China's naval bases and coastline into a skyscraper forest fire. In addition, they've got an anti-aircraft and ABM system that is nearly as good as the PAC-3 Patriot and, in some circumstances, even better in performance. It can actually intercept missiles and aircraft at higher altitudes than even the Patriot PAC-3 is capable, and they've been building those missiles for at least a decade as well. Taiwan has been improving their cave & tunnel networks, their secure storage of food, fuel, and supplies, and they have been developing their indigenous weapons potential. They now are building their own loitering short, medium, and long-range FPV (First Person View) drones, and they now have anti-tank weapons like the "Kestrel" rocket launcher that is being built in the tens of thousands currently. They are also expanding the capabilities of this hand-held shoulder-lauched weapon to give it something close to the capabilities of the U.S. FGM-148 Javelin anti-tank missile. It's been in service for nearly 10 years, and they've ordered another 10,962 units of the weapon in 2022 and 2023. This doesn't mean that Taiwan can't be taken or is invincible in any sense, but it does mean that Taiwan is making sure that if the Chinese try, they will lose so many people and so much equipment that any Chinese victory will taste as bitter as their worst defeat. China simply doesn't have the aircraft or the trained manpower to do what they claim. The U.S. will never tell you that because they need to hype the threat in order to achieve the funding necessary to prepare for any eventuality, but China would need 4 to 5 times the number of large transport aircraft than they currently have, and they would need to probably triple their number of combat capable attack helicopters and transport helicopters. They would also need quite a number of additional surface combatants that carry sufficient long-range weapons to help protect their very vulnerable carriers, all of which are diesel-powered, and will require routine fuel replenishment while out at sea. They will be vulnerable to attack from long-range stand off weapons, as well as a variety of submarines from at least 4 separate nations, not including Taiwan. Anyway, I digress. I think you have nothing to worry about regarding TSMC or investing in Taiwan in general. I enjoyed hearing the fear stories. Mine was when I was about 15 and baling hay with my dad and foster brother for a family friend's farm. These were the big 50lbs rectangular hay bales. This would have been in the 1993 to 1994 time-frame. We were in an old Chevy truck, and we had stacked the bales probably 3 or 4 bales higher than the roof of the truck, so from the ground to the top bale was probably a height of about 16 or 17 feet. Well, we are in an old cow pasture and it was uneven terrain. My dad was driving the truck, and my foster brother and I were on top of the bales, trying to keep them from falling off. Well, it was slow going, but we were making our way to the fence line and my dad hit a rut in the pasture and we tipped to the right. Well, I...all 285lbs of me fell first, and my 165lbs foster brother fell on top of me, and then about 1/4 of the bales came off on top of us. Well, falling face first onto the ground and having someone land directly on your back as you're pummeled by hay bales was no fun, but I felt a sharp pain or pinch in my lower back, and my legs just went immediately numb. I started screaming for my dad and began to cry immediately because I just had the sensation that I'd just broken my back and was paralyzed. I remember repeating the good old F word like 5 or 6 times in a row.. Oh, F...oh, F..., etc..., which normally would've gotten me in huge trouble, but my dad said absolutely nothing, as he was trying to help me get to my feet. Well, my legs and feet weren't moving, but I remember this massive surge of adrenaline coming on, and I was literally able to grab the truck's metal door handle and with 2 hands pull my 285lbs body up off the ground. My dad and foster brother than got under both of my arms and they pushed and pulled me into the truck. I was still somewhat crying, but that was subsiding...still super freaked, and I could feel my feet and legs tingling, like they were waking up after having fallen asleep. So basically, I was feeling sensation again within 90 second to 2 minutes, but still being so freaked out, I went home for the day. But thinking I was going to be paralyzed for life was definitely my scariest moment, though it only lasted for a few minutes. Great video guys!
Man you never dissapoint with these responses. You know a lot about a lot. Feeling good about our taiwan metal conductor pick now. The big eaters I figured had to do some stomach stretching, I can hardly eat if i've gone a day without anything... Your' hay bale story is frightening. I remember working a job site, cleaning up and carrying big 5 gallon buckets when I was young (full of paint and such) when I was like 12. Always liked showing off how big and strong I was. Then I heard and felt a pop in my lower back, instant back pain. It's something I've fought off most my life. Terrible what we do to our bodies when we're young! Merry Christmas man!
