Paul "Loco" Lopez flew that demo way better than any other F-22 pilot I've seen over the years. I also love that he keeps the burners plugged in on the high-speed pass. Just amazing.
Got to see the F22 Demo Team in 2016 at the Great TN Air Show. It's the most amazing plane that I have ever seen, its unbelievable the maneuvers that it can pull off.
@@christenn32 Yeah its definitely a cool plane to watch but if you want to see some incredible maneuverability you should look up the Su-30 and Su-35 Airshow videos.
@@Jay4584L Cool beans! It was the same performance for Saturday and Sunday unless I'm mistaking. The F22 took off from the same runway and did the same maneuvers
Nice ! That monster slip when he presents the weapons bay looks gorgeous. However when having watched the SU-57 at MAKS 2019 then the F-22 looks rather pale, what is striking is the extremly precise controls and high roll rate of all the US-jets (F-16, 18, 35, 22) certainly a dream to fly, BUT the new master in the skies is the SU-57 it beats the F-22 by a wide margin now in the mid to low speed envelope - the F-22 being probably stealthier, although this is now only a very flimsy story when considering the new capabilities of modern radars. Also the F-22 seems to be aerodynamically cleaner (prob. higher top speed and ceiling) .
TPath3 there are numerous aircraft that WVR would eliminate the Raptor. The Rafale being the current dominant airframe that would do this. Luckily for the Raptor though with its advanced radar it can operate and control an airspace primarily BVR and eliminate targets. If it is engaged WVR it certainly can fight with the best of them but it’s much safer for it to run and get back to it’s true operational platform.
Giuseppe casà if one is strictly comparing the Rafale to the F-22 you’d have to look at a few details to make a definitive answer. Aerial dogfighting (engagements WVR of 5NM) is a thing of the past. If one was to speak to pilots from around the world you’d find that since the Vietnam area it is extremely hard to find a pilot that has engaged another WVR. It has happened but it’s rare. Today’s engagements are all BVR. The country that has the best radars in their said airframes and advanced missiles usually can win the engagement. WVR the Rafale would be a serious threat to the Raptor. The Raptor has the ability to hold its own but the Rafale is able to out maneuver the Raptor at slower speeds and cause havoc for any Raptor. With that said and the likely probability that a WVR engagement most likely would never happen the Raptor destroys the Rafale BVR. The Suhkoi 57 (T-50) is alleged to have all the capabilities of the F-35 and F-22 plus it’s supposed to be more agile and can maneuver better. Being that there is currently only 11 air worthy with delivers supposed to happen this year I’ll wait and see. The problem we have currently is air show nuts see a new aircraft preform a demo and decide that based solely on what they saw a plane is greater than another. Thrust vectoring, doing Cobras and flat spins look amazing but have little to do with modern day aerial combat.
@@dblankenship88 sorry if I will ask you another question but I have a curiosity which is the best fighter jet between the the eurofighter and the rafale because a lot of people say that the rafale is superior to the eurofighter
Giuseppe casà That’s an outstanding question that I wish I had an answer for. Very similar aircraft. It’s well known that the Eurofighter is faster overall at altitude but the Rafale at slower speeds can out maneuver the Eurofighter to a degree. I honestly don’t know which airframe would win that engagement WVR. Not only to add that both these aircraft are omnirole. They are so similar it’s hard to pick.
@@giuseppecasa3574 its designed to kill the enemy before they even know its there. Ground based radar the MIGHT be able to track the F22 is no use for air to air combat. All it can do is direct aircraft to a general area.
Major Lopez is the best Raptor demo pilot of all since 2006 air show i have ever seen...
I definitely agree! Always said he flew the jet hard lol

I’ve said that so many times that loco always flew that jet hard lol razz is reminding me a lot of him how he flys the demo and in afterburner a lot
One of the best flight demos I've ever seen!
This video cannot convey how loud this was. That was the loudest plane I've ever heard.
Oh yea its has a sound!!
I thought the F-35 was louder than the F-22.. I haven’t seen it in 2 years..
I was there as well and have seen many demonstrations and I can conclusively say that the F-35 was indeed louder.
Also I have a video on my channel of almost the entire show although not as high quality
So much horsepower!
Never have seen a 9g turn at low level..beats anything Russia can throw at it..
The F-22 is by far the best plane in the world. It would kill any enemy before they even knew what hit them.
That take off scared some people i think ,,, it was wicked
Nice to see a new performance. GO USAF.
That entrance at low altitude and hard bank??!! Bad ass!!
Now that was epic!😍👍
That’s one bad ass pilot! He just drifted that jet not far off the ground! That jet must have a separate internal bay for his massive balls!
Amazing camera work.
10:30...is wht I was here fr😍😍😍
Nice Video. Thanks.
I love f 22

God: No loud jet noise in Heaven please
Loco: 'Ight. Imma head out
Its amazing...

Well duhh lol I was there too at the Saturday performance ✌

Superb
What lens did u use for this video?
20 seconds of vertical fly with almost no altitude gain.
f 22 vertical climb is over 1100 feet per second which is more than any modern 4th or 5th gen jet.
Imi cer scuze Russian on SU 57 dar...F22 IT S THE BEST!!!!!!
There is no way the pilot got out of the plane without falling completely out of the cockpit.
super controlabel
no other one is abel for now
use power for pease!!!
