Another fantastic review Kyle and Michelle - You guys are unparalleled when it comes to boondocking campsite reviews. Whenever we watch one of your reviews we feel totally confident in visiting that place - we know where we need to go for the essentials, and we know what gotchas might be awaiting us as well. Really appreciate your taking the time to do these - you set the gold standard!
Wow, thanks! We really appreciate that. We are always open to feedback as well as you can see in this most recent one people had suggested that we do the QR codes and thought it was a fantastic idea. Hoping that it helps people find the resources more easily when they're watching on something other than a cell phone, for example. Have a fantastic holiday and hope to see you soon- Kyle and Michelle
Loved being able to see this area from above! It is great you have a drone to be able to do that now. Great information about where to get water. Hey! Great addition of the QR Code! We tried it and it works! Nice. 😊- Jim & Michelle
Thanks you guys, the QR codes are working well and we have you to thank. We really apprecaite the suggestion and you will see it coming soon in more of our videos.
Perfect, thanks! The echo bay upper campground was closed mid September, only a camp host was there, the lower campground was empty and open, but looked abandoned.
@@thewanderingshores No, we got delayed because our oldest grandson is graduating from UW Green Bay in mid-December and after that we will head out. Our other grandson graduates in the spring. (same school). Have a good Turkey Day!
@burlingtonbill4687 congratulations to your grandson. Let us know when you get here. We should still be at the LTVA for a couple weeks once you arrive- Kyle and Michelle
Thanks you guys... so I had left that out because I am really getting conflicting info. I do believe it is 14 days, but I had seen another video that appeared to indicate at least during the "winter" there was no limit. The contact info I found some says its BLM and some say Bureau of Reclamation. I am pretty sure after looking again it si BofR land.
Great video buddy, however this area is not BLM land, it's Bureau of Reclamation land. Small distinction but it is a distinction. Angie & I love the area and have camped on Snowbird Mesa & out at Stewart's point. Happy Thanksgiving to you & Michelle!
Excellent, thanks for the heads up. I saw the sign for bureau of reclamation but it was further down the road so I thought it started south of us. But only smart people like you are going to catch that 🙂 clearly I'm not one 🙂 have a great Thanksgiving!
Thanks for doing the homework for me all I had to do was find the right hiking trails. I boondock 95% of the time also in my Airstream. Not a fan of "trailer parks"
You're very welcome! I'm glad the video is helpful. We've got about a hundred now over on our website that we've done campsite reviews of if you haven't checked that out too

@@thewanderingshores Sounds good. We will leave here on the 15th and arrive on the 19th or 20th of Dec.
Great video and appreciate the insight on the resources. I'm curious what the stay limits are?

Henderson is NOT a suburb of Las Vegas.
I guess if that's what you took from the video then it missed the mark.
@@thewanderingshoresIrrelevant. I live in Henderson. It's a completely separate city from Vegas. Got its own mayor and everything.
