We stayed off San Canyon Road a couple years ago. It was our first time in the area. Sun rise and sunsets were amazing with some clouds to add to the scenery. This was enroute to Page Arizona the long way around. Thanks again for sharing.
we were there last year. Nice place. Grocery store was pretty nice. We were across the road along the ridge that you were pointing out. If Im not mistaken we got our idea from one of your video's a couple years back. We had some pretty windy days but overall pretty nice. We never saw an official as well. One camper had been there all winter & was planning to stay another couple of months.
We have Drove by that place, but we never did get to stay there. Sure does look pretty. Have you ever gone to the lost city museum? Not far from there?
There are free dump and water fill stations in Valley of Fire State Park and Lake Mead National Rec Area. Both parks have day-use fees, though. We always buy the America is Annual National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass for $80 dollars so I use the one at the Echo Bay campground in the NRA
We just bought our first 5th wheel, Reflection 150 series, 260rd. Got a F-250 XLT Crew cab to tow it. I have seen a Ram 1500 tow one but he said he needed Air bags. I wasn’t trusting that with the profile. It is 30ft. How long is yours? Great video!
Our Ram 3500 truck has an 8-foot bed and is 21 feet in total. The trailer model is 276RLSWE, so 27 1/2 feet, but that is a living space measurement, I think. Total tip to the tail is around 30 feet. Truck and trailer combo is 45 feet. They have been a great match. Loaded up, the truck weighs around 9000 lbs, trailer closed to 10,000 with a pin weight of around 2200-2500, depending on the amount of water and waste I'm carrying. My 60-gallon fresh water tank is at the very back of the trailer.
We were there in 2015 and a man from California comes up and parks 20' away from us. I step outside to greet him and he goes, you in my spot. I been coming here 20 yrs. I reply , really last time I looked it was free camping. When I seen his license plate I knew then the problem. He was entitled. What really made it was he had the nerve to ask us to move as he is pointing to the spot where you could see he had placed his RV feet and wheels.
Beautiful. Thanks, Ray.
Beautiful spot, thanks for the views.

Spectacular time lapse video!!! You two must have nerves of steel; my wife would be running for the hills if she saw ominous clouds like that.
Great area. Stayed at stewards point before.
Beautiful spot Ray - Thanks! - Cheers!
What kind of camera lens do you use? Great shots Tks
Sony AX43 camcorder. It has a 20X optical zoom with a built-in gimbal for image stabilization.
@LoveYourRV thanks for answering the question. Cheers.

One other thing was they had a Pomegranate festival in town and we got some awesome jellies and preserve.

No, driven by it dozens of times but have never went in
@@LoveYourRV Well, if you got a minute, it's kinda cool
Hi Ray, where do you go for water and dump in that area?

Wow, it amazes me the nerve of the guy as there are so many spots to camp there.
