How can you feel SORRY for a murderer? That shows how easily you can be manipulated by her deliberately soft girlish voice. Thank God you aren't on the jury! What you don't realise is that this was a choice and had you been in that cult and in their way, you too would be killed without a thought. No empathy due to complete sociopathic grandiose narcissism.

If it's one thing that we have learned not just from criminal history of the last 40 years but also just within the last three years..Murdaugh, daybell, stauch and so many more...it's that people are often not how they make themselves seem to be. It's a lesson to all of us that we take our time getting to know new people and don't give away our trust so easily. If you get a gut feeling about someone, please listen to it and respect it. Analyze what they say and do and pay attention to what doesn't align. Take your time and go slow. If it feels off. It usually IS off. These people are very calculated and usually are 3 steps ahead of the person they're using. You have to be aware.

Their 'mission' was simply to brainwash as many insecure, gullible people to do their dirty work all for just one thing, money. My then 18 year old brother was "taken in" by a cult not long after my step mom passed from cancer. It was extremely scary to see changes in him and the way he spoke was almost scripted, robot like. I am 15 years older than my brother and helped raise him, they had him turning against me telling him they were his only family. Several things happened over the span of 3 years but finally the cult leader had a falling out with his own children and it caused him to somewhat crumble. My brother was around the same age of his children and started to breakaway like they did...thank God! It was a terrifying time to see this happening and now well over 15 years later we can talk about how insane it all was. I'm blessed to have my little brother and so grateful of the man he has become.

Imo it is exactly a religious upbringing and the brainwashing since birth that make Christian people so gullible and believing utter nonsense as long as it has a biblical tie.
I know I'm probably wasting my time, but...
The Christian religion has used brimstone and hellfire to scare people into believing and behaving for over 2000 years while taking full advantage of their gullibility and fear of eternal doom. It has caused Christians everywhere to become obsessed with being one of the saved, resurrected souls. They work like slaves their entire lives for their churches to score points. It's like playing the Christian lottery - the more you give of yourself, the more likely you'll be saved. Others saw how well this worked as a tax free business opportunity. That's why there are almost 400 different Christian churches in the US alone and prophets for profit are appearing everywhere like poison mushrooms overnight. Originally the Christian religion was based upon a very ancient story applied to many other so called "saviours" long before the Christ. A tiny Christian cult was operational in Rome at the time it began its unification of the old Europe. The Christian religion was initially used purely as a political tool to unify Europe under Roman rule. Roman soldiers marched into Europe and killed our ancestors in the name of Christ - who were innocents practising a nature-based spirituality. The Church of Rome then flourished by usurping their lands, making poor people pay for their "sins," torturing and then burning innocent women and children at the stake and sending religiously crazed crusaders to kill and subject thousands of Muslims living in and around the "Holy Land." Their hatred towards the Christian infidels remains to this day.
Children have been abused by church leaders since the very beginning. Rome is a city of sick men who protect their many pedophiles, enrich themselves off the backs of poor people and are actually involved in criminal activities. That's the original church after which many followed a similar albeit a less extremist route. However the modern cults like Jamestown are almost as bad as the original church of Rome
      Actually the good news is...
you don't need a church to be a good person. Just prioritise your good values, believe in your own goodness by actively living out those values in your life. There is goodness in the world as much as there is evil. The choice lies within yourself. Be authentic. Don't brainwash little kids into this confusion. It's criminal imo.

This is one wacky story where so many people were munipulated and murdered due to these two evil people! As trials go on, it shows that Lori was not munipulated and brainwashed but in fact she was leading and was a co-leader to this cult. No reasons should be accepted to reason for Charles, Tammy, Tylee and 7 years old little JJ brutal and deliberate deaths!

  • @Scorpio.Iamher.
    @Scorpio.Iamher. ปีที่แล้ว +44

In my opinion, Lori was the instigator of the whole cult, not Chad. Remember Lori was determined to meet Chad at the beginning. She was the one who seduced Chad and he went along with it. Lori's family was dropping like flies after meeting Chad including her husband Charles while she and Chad were together. Then last but not least Tammy dies too at the end. Therefore, Lori was influencing Chad and her brother Alex to believe in murdering these people for her gain. I believe if Lori hadn't been stopped by the law eventually Chad would have been her next victim to die as well.

No sweet. If religion motivated those men, there would have been a certain ritual to the killing of zombies. But those kids were discarded with pure purpose of covering their tracks....tylee was burned to remove their DNA. Alex was sleeping with his sister and abusing his niece. The niece might have been planning on telling her dad. Alex killed him. Then he made friends with Chad through loris delusions and Chad was into it obviously. Chad is the gifted story teller,,,she is just a loopy easily manipulated follower tgat happily gave up the kids. The men drugged the kids to convince Lori they had to take them. They were acting weird. Those men raped Tylee. What did you tell yourself about the difference in how they were disposed of? In a way that ties in to chad believing he was killing zombies for god? Chad married Lori so she couldn't testify. And killed his wife because she found evidence of the kids being there. Maybe photos they took to enjoy later. Maybe she found a hair tye or a pair of underwear. And while she didn't know who they belonged to, if she was alive when police started looking for tylee,,that kind of info coukd get him caught

He was gonna sing like a canary to the cops and Lori had to shut him up. She had no further use for him as her hit man. Her and Zulima probably split Alex's life insurance money. It was win-win for the both of them.
Tylee had SSI money/insurance from Joseph's death and JJ had SSI money from Charles' death... but was issued to Lori as they were both still under age 18. Lori was PISSED when she found out that Charles had changed his beneficiary from her to Kay Woodcock- his sister, just before he was killed.

But when the trial is over and she is booked . We will start to look to other cases and she will fade away. And then it will be only her and no chad cult or friends . No more jj or taylee , her brother gone . Then it will hit her like a brick. For the rest of her family wil not want to see her again. She will be alone with her demons that will hount her for the rest of her days . Maybe the death penalty would have been humane for her.

I Feel like the Defense Attorney is Revictimizing the victim. She was not a follower she was searching and believed that Chad may have some very important spiritual knowledge that she wanted. This defense attorney is awful to me, he is so rude and he is demeaning and cruel to this woman who was afraid to say what Lori said when she threatened her life. This happened to me when I got raped and then I went into the police station and they had a way of making it my fault that I got raped. It was so traumatizing. And that's what I feel this Attorney is doing to this poor woman. He is traumatizing her all over again. She tried to get out. She checked it out it wasn't for her, she saw the Miss representation of a Godly situation and she wanted to leave.

Chad isn't the charming, intellect like other cult leaders. He believed he saw things in his dreams and wrote his books. But, I believe Lori was behind the rest of it. She was the charming one. I think she put it in his head he was a prophet and they made all this stuff up together. It would take a lot to convince me Lori isn't the mastermind behind everything. When Lori and Chad started putting distance between everyone, I think Alex realized he'd been duped and hearing that Lori asked for strategy meetings with her and Chad and their attorneys, and Chad said no,makes me think Chad has realized how badly he allowed himself to be duped because a pretty blonde took interest in him.

It's the oldest con job and the most profitable when done right. The Mormons made so much money they have an entire state in a stranglehold and now they're working on owning Nevada too.

He was showering them with attention and giving them a platform they probably have never really had in their lives before him. I don’t mean any disrespect to the Mormon faith by my comment, I just know a lot of my friends who have come from that faith have shared the same frustration with the organization.
