Hello Gurmukh, yes it is still running great. I had to put quite a bit of further investment into it including a new generator and workover by Robyn Markey of Bob's Indian and I completely rewired the bike with a vintage wiring harness to get the electronics working per the original design. The video you see was made to help sell the bike and it now is running around the streets in Northern New Jersey with its proud new owner. I hope you are still having fun restoring more classics as you certainly had a great talent for it. Cheers, John
Some of you guys are a little harsh. So dude looks a little geekish, sense a little envy. When I rode my first bike, "72 Kawasaki 350 I'm sure you guys would have piled on about my ...... anything really. Some people just don't know how to be happy for ya. Dude has an incredibly sweet scooter, but obviously he doesn't deserve it cuz of the way he acts, looks, speaks but of course you guys are cool and are much better suited for the scoot. Dude hope you sold it for lots of Jack and bought 2 Indian Scouts. Ride Safe
Yes, I think that’s a jockey shifter. Suicide shift is when reach behind you on a pan / shovel maybe a Knuckle because for some reason there is no more linkage and manually shift ( with your hand) right on the trans. No linkage!!!
Senor Churchill, there are but two kinds of riders - those who are new, and those who once were. Long ago, Ramrod San Bonito threw his leg over an ancient Norton and thundered away into the night - a new rider. He is new no more, amigo. Perhaps you are an old rider, Senor. It means nothing, except that once you were a new one. Do not be arrogant.
It's a good idea to look behind you rather than just pull out into traffic. Bloke's a bit of a dick but at least he's using the bike set up as it should be
Hammered01 It would make for some seriously awesome chasing of era accurate steam trains, like the 1941 1225 Pere Marquette, aka “The Polar Express”. Imagining a badass Moment driving along the train on its journey to the North Pole.
I am glad that the bike is out of this guys hands and on to a proper home.
It absolutely must feel like being the King of the road.
Indian Motorcycles 😚
My dream bike! Absolutely beautiful
Hello John , I just saw this video I am glad you kept the bike well as it was restored by me few years ago .

Ride Safe
would think the throttle being on left side would allow rider to fire weapon with right hand if needed
Nope, just what they did
Sweet little scooter.
Linda moto parabéns !!!
Super
Какого года ? Реставрированный или сохраненный ?
Cool thank
I'm afraid you need to retake motorcycle anatomy 101, try starting with the Wikipedia entry on the term suicide shifter
I don't know why Suicide Clutch never caught on, since that's what it is. Ride Safe Brothers

Very nice restoration. Where did you get your saddle bags made?
Sucide CLUTCH, is one like a car ,that's a rocker clutch ,when adjusted properly , you can take your foot off at the light while still in gear !!!
When Yuppies buy classic motorcycles
