Wie gut ist das denn! Super: Er kommt sofort zur Sache, kein Geschwätz, er zeigt die Tasten, die Fingersätze - hervorragend! Grosses Danke vom Boggie-Neuling!
In spite of your fingers not so long)), you're the good musician! I like your slow version of Johan and the version of Falling love. Thanks! I'll learn Johan's boogie on your tutorial.
Hi, just wondering if anyone had any knowledge they could impart on me as to Johans note selections in this - ie. he doesn't stick to the blues scale that much.. He plays lots of 2nds and 6ths, and even minor 2nds and more. Is it just that he has so much experience that he almost makes up his own rules? or is there some reason to his (excellent) "rhyme"?
I have transcribed a 12 bar cycle from this great tutorial. It starts from 1.01. Its not a great transcription as it came out of Logic Pro, which doesnt have a great score editor. Anyway, a lot of people have asked for the sheet music so I can make it available if wanted?
Note that since posting this I have learnt that different interpretations of the blues scale go right up to 10 notes. I'm pretty sure only omitting the minor 2nd and [either maj 7th or b6th]
