I’d only pick the Audi because of the AWD for my weather here in Pennsylvania and the necessary four doors for the kids. I love the crackin V8 for sure but if it was just a car for me I’d take the M3 E46 all day

Unless you get the car for a drift competition or fooling around at low speeds on snow, there is no use in such tests. 99.9% of buyers of these cars do not have the skills to drift on public roads. Note that even the pros here spin on a wide track. Something which one cannot afford doing on a regularly narrow road.

I was lucky enough to own both cars at the same time When I wanted to drive I would always take the keys of the M3 - Even though it was SMG it was more fun The RS4 is the one I would buy again however. Such a great all around car. Perfect size too. They both still look epic.

Because someone prefers Audi's appearence, quality and solutions more then those in BMW. For example Audi makes nicer avants than BMW, somebody that live in mountains will always get some quattro rather than xDrive BMW. I drove and I used to sit in both E46 and B6/7 Audi, I more preffer seating position in Audi, interior in B6/7 looks more massive, more fresh, gauge clusters look more inovative in every Audi and also in B6. E46 feels massive and hard on steereng but B6 looks even more massive and harder...I do not personally like B6 look but BMW looks even more outdated
The last drift that Tiff pulled off in the RS4 was beautiful! I didn't think that car would drift even that much.

They are the stock wheels actually. Available only during the first year of production I think. Very few cars have them.

I never drove my M3 like that it's too expensive.
