Not sure if you got the memo but boxing career civil servants into a Trump or Obama corner is not an effective debating point. That's why I highlighted the fact her career as an analyst spanned a Rep-Dem-Rep series of administrations. Also policy decisions are always reviewed, the US has an entire intelligence apparatus geared towards collecting secrets in order to shape future policy, and new insights can have dramatic impacts on foreign policy. Policy is a reflection of what insights are available and 2015-2019 span of time represents a huge amount of potential geopolitical changes.
