    7.Pull the seat belt of the back seat too and now carry the car like a back pack.
    8.If you are 4 then do the same on the other side and you can lift the car and walk .
    9. If you did try the above make sure you get new seat belts to match production date

With pushing the car its actually better to keep the door open as you said to be able to stop it if needed and in my opinion its easier to push the car with one hand holding on the door and other on the steering wheel and lean on the top of the front left pillar with your right shoulder (cant remember what its called in english, piece between windshield and front left door).

      Some people praise car seat belts as a benefit of paternalism. It turns out they don't save lives or injuries, because the make people drive more carelessly and so vehicle accident risks did not fall in the USA following the introductions of mandatory seat belts. This apparent paradox is known as the Petlzman Effect - I have collected the literature here:
      bit.ly/seatBelts
      However authorities really push seat belts (and ConVid masks) as they succeed in reminding citizens that they are feeble and should behave like good little slaves.

  • @aidanbrooks771
    @aidanbrooks771 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    The first one I don’t understand, my car broke down today (bad fuel line connector) and I had to push it out of the road. I cannot think of any worse advise than closing the door because you have no access to the brakes if you need to stop the car. My advice is keep the door open, right hand on the steering wheel, left hand on the A pillar and push with your legs. Easy in and out when you need to stop the car and no seatbelt buckle scratching the paint on your door

  • @valorabraun9087
    @valorabraun9087 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    1 Nobody should be pushing a car by themselves. 2 If they do not see a dirty belt and it is a new belt does mean there was a car accident.
    3 If the date does not match but is new that is okay?
    4 According to new information cars made after 2005 the glass is much harder to break needing a Safe Hammer. They should not rely on the seat belt working release. That is why there are belt cutters. Since belt may jam during an accident like under water.

    Seatbelts wear down over time. Lots of car manufacturers in the US have free seatbelt replacements for that purpose. A newer seatbelt does not show that car has been in an accident. And I'm pretty sure most crashes don't automatically mean you need to replace the seatbelt.

      @@jameslarson7452 try reading the data sheet, If you use a seatbelt to tow your car the seatbelt and mechanism requires replacement, Just as it needs replacing if you have an accident,
      You are basing your hypothesis on the tensile strength of the belt, not the pre tensioner and lock mechanism. Most modern belts have a solenoid that locks them when the crash sensor is activated, Mine lock when under emergency breaking, That mechanism is not designed to pull a car with!

      @@dogwalker666 You gotta stop with the nonsense. A person pulling on a car is not towing. Every part in the system is rated for 50kn dynamic/30kn static. Replacement is required when the potential exists that those numbers were exceeded once. That’s not possible in this scenario. You’d have to pick up the whole car with it to hit that number. Do you even rig bro?

    Im a mechanic. The date on the seatbelt means basically nothing. If it doesn't "match" it doesn't at all mean the car has been in an accident. Maybe. But i can tell you ive replaced countless seatbelts and/or buckles over the last 15 years. And i can probably count on 1 hand how many were because of accidents. Most were because the seatbelt locked and won't come out or won't retract. Or because the buckle stopped reading when the seatbelt was clicked in.

    I actually just keep some small shards of broken ceramic underneath my passenger seat, more effective than a seatbelt buckle car windows are pretty tough things, so with the way a buckle spreads the force you will not succeed, however a piece of ceramic about an eighth of an inch in size can be thrown at the window to shatter it. When it comes to car windows it's not about mass but rather especially when inside the vehicle it's about maximum force focused in as small of an area as possible a tiny little piece of jagged ceramic won't weigh much but if it's a decently sharp piece it's gonna focus every bit of force on an extremely small area

    Put the buckle between the seal/trim and bottom of window as far in as it will go then pull the belt/buckle horizontally back towards you
    It'll pry against the bottom of the window and spider it
    Haven't tested it from the inside but it definitely works from the outside. No I don't steal cars.
