When checking continuity on installed wires, make sure you a jumper to connect to one lead that can reach the furthest installed connection and check continuity of that jumper. Seems the local auto parts chain stores import a lot of inferior products. Now when I go to the stores I take my meter with me and ask them to open the package so I can check, if it passes I buy it, if it fails, and it has a few times, they then can put the item in the defective pile.
But you mentioned the battery and that makes sense it’s loosing voltage under load. I hope y’all find it.
I hope the car is fixed after all the time, work, worry, and money. I know from my racing experience that these cars can be a nightmare for Gremlins. Where I raced they would put calcium on tracks very corrosive. Best of luck with the car and be safe.

Check continuity on all wires one at a time. On my car I had a water temp wire that I put in new that did not read continuity after I installed a new temperature gauge system and had the same issue. New wire mind you. It just had a bad spot internally from manufacturing.
Check with chase Holland,they had this popping and spotering, I think it’s a backwards distributor wire were reverse 🔄 hooked up, on the MSDok try it , thanks BigAl California..
Ok ,so as you are going to change everything thing ,it might still be doing it even thuogh, if so reverse ,,,,the Distributer wires in that case, ok thanks BigAl California
Great video. I really enjoy the shop stuff. Electrical can be hard to diagnose. The brass inside one those connectors near the MSD and coil could be burned black causing a loss of continuity. You just have to check everything. Y'all will get it sorted out. Thanks again for a great video.

Well, you've changed everything but the kitchen sink. It is aggravating to be ready to race and the car act up. I've watched the last few videos and i could feel tension in the hole crew because of the car. I pray all this set it right and y'all start having fun again. Go get'em this weekend. I still think it's the fuel cell maybe it's sucking the foam into the pick up or there's not enough foam in it and it's swishing around
We don’t believe it’s fuel cell. If these don’t fix the issues, we will check that again. But we’ve already been through the entire fuel cell, took it apart and put it back together.

We’ve went through everything
we chased a miss for a year and it was the toggle ignition switch
We replaced that this week
Hey, check your cam . I had a motor act like that and the cam was twisted a little bit.
We don’t believe it to be the cam because this is the 3rd motor its done this with.
If all the stuff doesn’t work, I had a similar problem. The msd distributor was the culprit, the shaft had actually twisted and it was making the the engine go nuts at rpm.
The distributor is new
Man y’all are going to have a brand new car for sure now with all the new parts. I sure hope y’all get it sorted it out. I’m sure all the spark plugs are new too.

If you’re running the engine mount fuel pump, check the fuel pump rod . Worth checking while you’re at it

We were having similar problems. Ended up being battery $700 later
We changed the battery & it seems to be fixed now.
Brad, may not be the trouble! I had the same problem. 4 weeks in a row. Changed everything.
Finally found the problem. From over time washing the car. Water had gotten in the battery cables. And over time had caused the problem. Changed them + and- . Cut the cables open and they were green corrosion. Wood run fine but not at hi rpms.
I changed mine and it fixed the problem.
