Torquey little sticks with the nice sound everyone loves. How high up does it pull strong in a 305? With those 059's from the factory made a quick 305 even with the sissy stock cam. Good choice

With the 4.11s it surprised a lot of guys when I told em it was just a 305. It pulled strong right up to the 6700 chip.

The car had 4.11s and it felt like a 350… was a lot of fun. Butt dyno says 300horse

My 305 tbi with pro jection intake manifold stock tbi n headers factory y no cat n bypass ac was fast enough to beat a 96 gt 4.6l 5spd n a 2005 silverado 4.8l

ive got a 305 with l31 vortecs in my bird,bigger cam (l-82 spec) edlebrock highrise/holley 650.......pulls hard when you get above 1200-1500 rpm

You can do the L31 heads but ideally u would swap in flat tops ta keep the 9:1 compression
