    Bought one love it.
If you sit up properly like a manual car driver and don’t recline like a lazy automatic driver you will find the dash is easy to see, like the snug driving.
    Handles corners great.
Hardly any road noise compared to a WRX.
Don’t need a car that goes to 100 in 5 seconds, it is actually quite quick on the road.
Power mode is subtle but it does tighten up the ride and throttle.
Charge it at home, don’t care about the efficiency. On long trips stop for lunch anyway and charge it.

one pedal driving is something reviewers seem to love, but the benefit of the paddles is that you can adjust as you go without having your foot on the accelerator and just cover the brake

EV's in Australia can only be short range, small vehicles that can be charged overnight at a standard power point. The charging network in Australia is unreliable, rare and far too expensive. A small 15-20kWh vehicle with a range of 150km will suit most of our driving in urban environments without the need to create a charger network to rival petrol station networks, so big, heavy EV's like the Soltera and co. are not going to replace an ICE vehicle here.

Off-roading with that range is a joke. Let's be honest!!

Range too low, internal dynamics with steering wheel hiding the instrument panel behind it shows poor design. The piano black on the centre console will pick up every fingerprint and greasy marks. The infotainment not fabulous against many other EV’s. The comment “nothing particularly remarkable” is absolutely accurate. The Solterra is a disappointing entry the EV market for Subaru. Might be okay as an urban shopping cart. It drives well, but road noise and ride quality would drive me nuts on a longer highway drive and I’d likely run out of battery before I got where I wanted to go. Power for a dual motor EV is low, makes me very unsure what market Subaru is seeking with this thing. I surely wouldn’t take the Solterra off road. I drive a dual motor Long Range EV, and if the Solterra had been available when I bought last year it wouldn’t have been something I’d have considered. Good review of a not so great car.

Wouldn't buy Subaru anymore. I have had my 5 year old Forester serviced by Subaru since new. Then it malfunctioned only 1 month after a scheduled maintenance, right before a road trip. Costed us $2500 to repair immdiately to go on the road trip. And Subaru Australia has not been helpful throughout the process.
