I am 71 years old, ( also from Melbourne) and will travel to Vietnam for the first time in March and researching found your videos. I like to congratulate you because not only you have an adorable personality, but you are in fact honouring your roots by informing & advertising for that beautiful country. Well done!
Looks great def gonna visit when we come in April. Would be good to see you doing some other stuff in the Northern region that we can add to our itinerary!!!
Fire content bro 🔥. We’ll be in HCMC and all the way up to Danang in December. Question, when you rent these motorbike, what types of motor (50cc or 100cc) do you rent when you’re traveling? And no license required correct?
50cc and under no license, but obviously people will lent you a bike without a license too. I tend to use from 110cc to 150cc for bikes in Vn. Safe travels!
@ One last question David, when you order/take a Grab ride, do you pay them through the Grab app with the credit card you used through that app or do you request a ride, then pay them cash? I’ve noticed some of those people in VN pay those guys cash afterwards, which is different than the US when using Uber.
If im not mistaken David, the boat tour you took is one of the less touristy ones, the more popular* routes will have the tourist traps that people have mentioned.
I got up the top good and quick at 44yrs and the only other white was a Russian sounding girl thinking I'm the same language 😅I said I'm Australian 🇦🇺 didn't know what she said 🥳👍👍👍👍👍
There are also many videos about Vietnam and even many places in the world. I think to get many views, you need to have local moments, communicate with local people, explore local culture and their lives.
Ninh Binh has great scenery What I didn't like were: - I feel like a cash cow sometimes (in Vietnam in general) - scam parking for bikes (people stops you and say you have to park and pay on their spot) on the road to hang mua
I enjoy your content for the most part. and Vietnam is so beautiful without a doubt. but I will say, it seems most all of Vietnam looks identical to the rest of the place. starting to become very repetitive. you gotta hit some nightclubs and show some ladies or something bro

We just did the Trang An boat tour - Route 3 and it was gorgeous. 250k vnd.
It's better than Hạ Long Bay in my opinion
You probably left the place already however, The Bird Valley is a breathtaking place to visit
Ninh Binh has great scenery

Yeah definitely feel the cash cow at touristy places in Vn
Finally you got a proper sun hat
in London you can pay 100 quid yearly membership and you can visit garden at anytime you like
nice
hello David do you have plan to visit Philippines again?🇵🇭
Definitely one day!
in the north Vietnam boats workers they used feet to drive a boat
in the south Vietnam they used hands to drive boats
Bro how come your videos are so short, wait all week and it's only 30 mins
It's said the lying dragon would bring good luck, health and wealth to those who in person touch or see it.
Like “The Weekend “ say you get taxed for the feature. That’s the Facts when in Vietnam. 😂
😅
4 quid to come in is good price
The price is right there on the sign but they always make this face as if they are making up the price on the spot.
Why are you using google map instead of Waze? you may end up in some red district using google map.. hahaha!
😂
Look at his forearm the rib on the left he is wearing a bracelet
this bracelet means good health good news
represent by Buddhism
Its nice there but dam its kinda dead
