- The 2019 Farm Progress Show was a blast. Daddy Cornstar and Cooper joined me for an awesome adventure. We saw $50,000,000+ worth of equipment and met some incredible people. We talked with everyone from AgLeader to Calmer Cornheads and popped our heads into every booth at the show. We met up with various ag TH-camrs along the way and ended the evening with a steak dinner at Brian’s Farming Videos Camper.

Cole The Cornstar, aka Cole, is a 4th generation family farmer from Central Iowa who is the life force behind his family’s 1,700 acre farm. Wow,thanks for sharing the life of farmers, I had a few older cousins in that business, remembering when I was a child visiting them often, not knowing exactly what they went through, their children did not carry on with farming and sold it, so it's nice to see 3 generations carry on with farming, I never knew until watching your videos just how big a business farming can be,,,or how big ag shows can be,, thanks for informing us non farmers what ur takes to support the world. Am amazed are all you farmers have your own TH-cam channel?

I am in 'awe' of those modern tractors. They have covered cabs with heat and air - - not like the tractors we used in the 40's with just a metal seat out in God's fresh air, blazing sunshine or rain and no mules! You guys are soft. :)
I had no interest in farming but after going through tons and TONS of your videos. I now wanna be one. Haha
On a real note I’ve come to appreciate all the hard work it puts into being a farmer.

Depends on your genetics. Sunblock wasn't a big thing when I was young, and I was out in it a lot. I inherited my father's swarthy Mediterranean skin that tans up dark and never burns. I may get a basal cell carcinoma like he did, but I'm pretty sure I'll never get a melanoma. My spouse, however, has that pink Hollander skin and already had one melanoma removed from the back. Hats and clothing work as well as sun block that'll just sweat off you.
That's the worst advice ever. Wear sunscreen. It's been proven to limit skin cancer. And it's far more effective than wearing a hat. UV Rays dont get blocked by shade alone. It radiates.

When you get up on christmas
Eve day and you go onto youtube and you see a video titled "Accidentally Saved $40,000 for the farm" or something similar, i clicked on the video and havent looked back. Ive seen probably 70 to 80% of your videos by now and truly love them because one of my dreams one day would be to be able to farm. I now have so many more channels to watch... thankfully i have a lot of down time in the winter so i can catch up on all my Cornstar content then

I sure do like your video me and my father used to go to farm progress show back in the early seventies all the way to 79 I think sure has changed a lot we had a farm and we were carpenters and we poured silage pits and hog piss for Tazewell hog buildings great memories now I am retired want to go to another Farm progress show he used to run Iowa Illinois Indiana back to Iowa

That 16 inch auger a massive farmer around us has one to fill 5 100,000 bushel bins they clogged it twice but damn it unloaded trucks so fast

That 16-105 Westfield holds 110 bushels in the tube by its self. Says that required hp on it is 185-200. But we've had customers having to run thier 400hp quadtracs to move grain. If ur ever looking for a new auger or lookin for a conveyor or even parts give Ulrich Sales a call out of cedar falls, IA
