@@romelobrinkley7930 It's the only thing I'll use with Prismatic. Otherwise, Contraverse Hold on a full Void subclass is still great, especially with the current Artifact.
For the second build, I’m loving using volatile rounds with ros arago since for some reason proccing volatile also gives onslaught x3 instantly, so threadling grenade gives devour volatile and max onslaught while spawning a tangle to spawn more threadlings
Bleak Watcher does get spit out when you spawn it with Getaway Artist, it’s just spawned from a weird place. If you jump, you can get more distance from it.
My Ros Arago with permeability and onslaught is nasty. When I run a strand super I can do volatile and unraveling rounds on the same weapon. Depending if I Dodge or not beforehand. Plus grapple grenade, activates volatile and unraveling rounds at the exact same (hunter only) time and you can swap between void and strand weapons during that time and apply both debuffs to an enemy.
@@Kaiser8361Nand on top of all that, my favorite exotic class item for prismatic Hunter has been Spirit of inmost light and Spirit of the cyrtarachne ( wolven mail on grenade cast) using your grapple and then hitting something with the melee will automatically go times two for the inmost light buff. And a smoke bomb will keep the inmost light buff at its maximum timer count while the damage over time poison effect is ticking away. You get a TON of ability regeneration. I'm a Titan main that generally only used heart of inmost light. So tinkering with the hunter with inmost light has been a lot of fun. And there's some fun interactions with some of the other abilities as well.
For the second build, I'm REALLY liking Mataiodoxia with Prism Warlock. You get Transcendence insanely fast when you suspend a huge amount of adds. It has all the utility and feels very powerful. Monte Carlo ups the power a bit.
Still tinkering with this exotic. Unsure whether to go prismatic vs strand, they both have their benefits. I might try Monte Carlo. I went Wishkeeper to try to feed into melee energy, and got mixed results.
For Lightning Surge, I recommend trying it with Felwinter's Helm. The suppression combined with Devour from Feed the Void (or Restoration from Facet of Purpose if you want to run a different aspect) will keep you alive in most circumstances. I've used this basic setup in raids and master lost sectors, changing grenade and weapons as needed for the specific encounters, and it's pretty good at keeping you alive and add clear even from up close
Doesn't count as suppression, it's weaken plus it's specific type of stun. It does have the similar effects but is not considered part of the action word suppress.
You have some agency with the bleakwatcher turret. I used it on the final boss of the campaign. If you’re close to the edge of cover, you can look up to arc your bleakwatcher further around the corner. You can use that to help you move from cover to cover.
Datto, I seldom write such comments, and I doubt you'll ever see this, but thank you so much for this build recommendation and guide. With this build, I have Solo Flawlessed Shattered Throne, Pit of Heresy, Prophecy, and Duality, feats which I had thought were beyond my mediocre capabilities. I credit this build- thanks for making an ordinary guardian like me feel extraordinary. Edit: Since this post I've Soloed Grasp of Avarice, Spire of the Watcher, and Warlord's Ruin- this build can do anything, even if you can't.
For the first build, if you have buried bloodline then you can do the 3 buddy build and have devour (& catalyst weaken, and tons of the pale heart benefits) for an awesome time
For the first build, if you have it, definitely run it with buried bloodline. You’ll have devour and it’ll allow you to also use Hellion and Bleakwatcher.
I forget what the facet is called but the one where your light abilities deal more damage to dark affected targets is a MUST for the first built. Let’s your super and arc soul do extra damage and you are literally slowing, unraveling or freezing things with your torrent CONSTANTLY AFAIK if your arc soul is doing constant work, your grenade should regen itself, so you can go hellion too if you want.
I was running the getaway buddies warlock with two other warlocks with same general build during the glassway gm last week and we were flying through it.
How did it never click for me that turning a grenade into a Bleak Watcher turret counts as consuming it for Getaway Artist? That is BRILLIANT. I can't wait to put this together
Graviton Lance with the Weaver build is magnifique. Teaming it with Nova bomb is a really really good combo in my opinion. Use those threadlings to make your volatile rounds and go to town
If we’re doing this, I suggest we go for facet of dominance too (is that the weakening fragment?). I really don’t see the point in using prismatic swarmers instead of strand swarmers if you’re not making use of weakening transcendence. nova bomb + expanding abyss sounds even better
For the first build, I prefer to run Hellion+Devour and The Call (The Call with Threaded Blast (artifact mod) is just chiefs kiss, too good for me to pass on it), since i dont like the bleakwatcher spawn on my location, its so funny to see in low-mid tier content everything just dies as you look at it. And The Call helps a lot with trans meter, since both buddies are light dmg. This setup is effective with more aggresive playstyle and has more pure dmg, but for gms or other champ heavy enviroment I would prefer bleak setup. Facet of sacrifice can help with dark meter and Facet of hope can help to get your rift back, since you will be amplified via getaway artist. Facet of balance and Facet of awakening both will be procing non stop since two buddies and The Call can kill stuff pretty rapidly. Facet of protection for the last one, but can be swapped for Facet of courage for better dmg to a single target (arcane needle + two buddies), can be swapped for Facet of Purpose (depending on your super, i ran with needlestorm, since, again, the main problem of the build is single target dmg, buffed nova probably deals more dmg, but overshield and devour not a very good combo, since devour heals only hp, you dont need an overshield). The call, sunshot and edge transit super effetive gun setup, overload handcannon (sunshot for even more add clear) and unstoppable sidearm (The Call for the orange bars), top tier gl for boss dmg
Your Lightning Surge build was missing Solopsism with Synthos and either Assassin or Necrotic. With the right setup using the current artifact, you can get radiant, woven, invis (with Assassin), amp, jolt, and devour from one powered melee, which you can do 3 times and regenerate VERY quickly.
It genuinely irritated me that the community figured out the getaway artist/devour build almost immediately because it was clear within five minutes that it was like playing the game on easy mode and almost nothing else would surpass it. I haven't been using it anymore but its strictly out of wanting to use something else; its just so unbelievably good its hard to ignore.
It's good... but slow. To get the real big booms out of shatter, or your transendence, you need to wait til a nerd is frozen. The arc buddy is pretty quick, but that's still after you've eaten a nade. It's not like Solar with an ashes buffed hellion and dawn chorus. You're able to stay mobile with it, and that's better on less ""plink in cover" type content.
I love weavers call with phoenix dive while on devour, because you can dive to heal yourself, and then your threadlings beam to some random enemy to kill them, and give devour. Super safe way to proc your healing in an “oh shit” moment

I have a very similar Void-Strand setup to the second one going on, but with one difference: Necrotic Grip instead of Swarmers. When I was messing around, I discovered that the poison that comes from melee kills can be used to prolong Devour, so I use Arcane Needles for their extra range and also to spawn Threadlings. My combat loop is (1) Vortext Grenade, (2) Arcane Needle, (3) Khvostov and other stuff. For good measure, I've thrown in Weaver's Call as my other aspect to help with spawning Threadlings. As for my Fragments I am running Grace (since I am running Khvostov), Justice (I feel like this one could be easily replaced with something else), Balance (for Transcendent generation), Bravery (I run a Void Grenade Launcher and Threadling Machine Gun, so they get buffed by my ability kills), and Purpose (just for some extra protection). I've tested this in co-op Legendary Final Shape with friends and so far this setup has been REALLY fun. The Nezarec's Sin Voidwalker and Osteo/Necrotic Broodweaver were already my two favorite Warlock loadouts, so being able to combine them together like this was a fun time. This might be my new go-to loadout. The only thing I can think of to make this build better is the Exotic class item with Spirit of the Necrotic. As for the second perk, I've wavered between Spirit of the Claw (for more poison Arcane Needles that keep Devour running) or Star-Eater (to buff Nova Bomb). Not sure if Spirit of the Swarm could be another thing to consider implementing instead, it's just a random idea I had.
I would just like to add that using felwinter helm, necrotic, crown of tempest (fast super and ability regen), osmiomency, vesper of radiance, secanfilament ( can switch it for the exotic side arm from the dungeon for devour) are extremely good builds
Been running Swarmers since the strand unlock for prismatic. You destroy everything. At the end of Dual Destiny you’ll have 600- 700 kills to their 200. Paired with the raid exotic it’s even more fun.
I've been running literally just Nezzy's Sin and Buried Bloodline with Arcane Needle and Vortex grenades and I am somehow consistently outslaying and damaging all of my friends. It's been a great time and I am very glad that it works so well, since I love void and this is just my void build but with worse grenade damage and better everything else.
I use a hybrid of these two. Getaway Artist, Helion & Weaver's Call. Especially since the upgrade to Weaver's Call helps you get so many more threadlings just for using a strand weapon. But I still get a stasis buddy by using Winterbite. Winterbite is slept on with this build.
With the Getaway/ Bleak Watcher setup I've pretty much thrown out all the transcendence fragments because it's only occasionally more useful than the turret spam (since transcendant grenade isn't arc so you can't use it for turrets). I was trying them earlier on but I just didn't want it that often and it builds up fast enough as is thanks to the double turrets covering both damage types. Balance has been useful imo since both stasis turret & needle melee are darkness damage so they recharge grenade a little more, and arc soul can charge melee in addition to recharging grenade by default. Also between arcane needle's unravel & bleak watcher's slow/frozen I've found Courage to have a lot of uptime (though I haven't checked what the damage boost actually is), which the arc soul benefits from as well as any of the light supers.
Titan main since D1. And today i disted off my warlock and started the campaign with him because titans are sooooooo bad now compared to the other 2. Thank you for the video.
For Hunters try using Gunpowder and Specter for maximum fragments. Use the strand melee and grenade, and if you have a Calibans cloak its going to be ignition galore. Plus every melee or grapple melee kill gives Gunpowder for even more ignitions. Its a really fun build and if you have Buried for Devour its even more good. Give it a try.
So for my version of the second build, I'd probably swap Swarmmers for Mataidoxia, giving me a ton of aoe cc off of my threaded needle melee. Sure it will put me behind on light side energy, but I can make that up with Hellion and a light grenade. I can run the fragment that boosts arc and void grenades, swap back and forth based upon what debuffs the activity calls for.
I know it plays into the same summoning build as these but I really hope Child of the Old Gods joins Prismatic. Osmiomancy Summoner and Briarbinds Summoner have been my favorite builds and it'd be amazing if we could combine them. Buried Bloodline has been glued to my side so Devour will be covered so that plus healing rift COG and fragments will help with a lot of grenades and turrets. Cool that it matches the Transcendence grenade, too. If they add the ability to pick up Void Souls to the right column of the class item I'll never ask for anything ever again
Just like I predicted when they announced that we would only be getting certain things with prismatic instead of everything, there will be 1 or 2 builds on each class, not even close to endless possibilities, a new subclass would have been so much better.
Haven’t solo’d a dungeon since spire, and this build with prismatic gave me enough confidence to try Warlords, and it was great (almost flawless but I blew myself up on final boss by accident) I tried ghosts of the deep as a joke for a minute while a friend watched me, it was going okay on Ecthar, I did the first dps phase then left, didn’t feel like running through that slog of a solo dungeon at the time, might revisit though
For me I find the entire first row of prismatic fragments entirely pointless, I have ZERO issues filling my transcendence bar just from dealing damage without using microcosm or even camping kinetic weapons, I mean shit just the stasis turret and arc buddy and fill both bars from 1 grenade if done properly, so for my getaway artist build with feed the void I use; Protection, Courage, Awakening, Ruin and Purpose Then if going triple buddy with Hellion I also run Balance/Solitude, seems to do the job just fine for me I did 50 rounds of Onslaught with both builds and would say the latter is more fun but feed the void is just better and more consistent
Ive been rocking devour and bleak with a class item that gives me invis on melee and finisher and synthos for more reliable kills. It's alot of fun. Been doing this weeks GM solo no problem. Can take care of all 3 champ types.
On the first build, I would recommend Devour with Hellion instead of Bleak Watcher in easier content. You really don’t need the crowd control most of the time.
I'm a hunter main. Always have been. Been loving prismatic hunter, obviously. But when I'm not playing hunter, I'm probably playing warlock. And I discovered during ITL that I looooooooove threadling warlock with Buried Bloodline for devour and Rufus' Fury with demo/hatchling for even more threadlings. I feel like I can just slap weaver's call & feed the void together, throw on a rufus & the swarmers, and have literally all the grenades, all the time, on an even better setup than base strand warlock (albeit losing Evolution, Generation & the fragment that makes threadricks on strand weapon kills, which do all hurt) Need to make the time to throw this together into an in game loadout and take it for a spin.
A warning for Threaded Blast: I'm _pretty sure_ the AoE kills _your own Threadlings_ if any are on the ground inside the explosion radius. It shouldn't delete the ones being spawned from destroying the Tangle since those will pop out & should still be falling when it goes off (in most cases). If anyone wants to do testing to double-check that it is doing this, feel free to correct me if necessary. I got the feeling this was happening while running around with Aisha's Care and Traveller's Propagation in The Pale Heart.
Getaway Artists were completely obsolete before Prismatic, except maybe as a niche option for PvP. Amplified arc souls are just as strong as what you get out of Getaways, so they were trash tier until this season. Glad they've gotten a new lease as a Prismatic exotic and yeah this is a build I've been using a fair bit. It's just easy mode for basically all content.
For lightning surge, I use a class item with synthos and necrotic as well as monte carlo. Its really funny how effective it can be. I was using it in the first and 3rd encounter of master vow and it was incredible at ad clearing.
I have a swarmers build as well , it's very powerful! I'm still 20 under in lost sectors etc. And I almost always kill the ads and boss before I get to all of the champions and not doing this on purpose, just green is everywhere!!
Wild too because well is still pretty damn good outside of GM’s. Still pretty needed in raids but other warlocks have so many insane options now. It’s the best time to ever be a warlock. Best of everything
I feel like facet of courage should be auto include if you're running arcane needle. It's like a free ~10% damage bonus to your light abilities as long as you arcane need and unravel first.
Highly suggest Buried Bloodline with the catalyst for the first build. Being able to apply weaken to everything is just insane. On top of that, use Nova Bomb with that one upgrade on the artifact that makes void abilities do more damage to weakened targets with the fragment that makes light abilities do more damage to enemies affected by darkness debuffs, and you got a Nova Nuke that deletes everything. Buried Bloodline seems like it carries that build and it's weird seeing nobody use it.
Transcendence nade already applies weaken with the fragment, which will also give your lightning nades jolt. Plus, warlocks already have a better version of devour. It's still not a bad option because rocket sidearms are so good, and you'll likely be using an edge transit in your heavy slot so you'll be able to take advantage of void surge too.
@@poggersplayer69 True, I think I got some of the things messed up. However, the point of BB isn't for the devour, it's to weaken everything, anytime. It's very potent.
I made a fun version out of the buddy build called "The lonely div bitch" build. I juat the buddy build with hellion where you use divinity and a kinetic weapon. You summon your "raid team" whenever you reach a high health target or big group of enemies and put a div bubble on the biggest enemy.
i have something similar to the second build. same aspects, but i run arcane needle / storm grenade with facet of bravery (volatile rounds on nade kills, unravelling on melee kills), then im gonna be hunting down a HOIL/swarmers class item roll. though your video has made me consider facet of solitude for tangle creation even while im focusing on light damage.

I would just like to add that using felwinter helm, necrotic, crown of tempest (fast super and ability regen), osmiomency, vesper of radiance, secanfilament ( can switch it for the exotic side arm from the dungeon for devour) are extremely good builds
i love you datto please sign my mantle of battle harmony
Been running Swarmers since the strand unlock for prismatic. You destroy everything. At the end of Dual Destiny you’ll have 600- 700 kills to their 200. Paired with the raid exotic it’s even more fun.
Nice suggestions. Thanks for putting them together!
The only content creator who pronounces "hellion" correctly.
This is the season of buried bloodline. It’s so amazing with the artifact
Warlocks and hunters having cool build. Me as a titan main. "Muh Fists"
Arc Soul damage is what recharges your grenade back fastest with this build! Make sure each pulse is getting hits. 5 pulses gets you nade back.
4:53 Dattos moderators in shambles rn
Prismatic swarmers is pretty nice ngl
For the first build I like using arc melee because when you use prismatic you get unlimited charged melees so it’s free jolts/overload stun
@17:36 a warlocks daily struggle with off map areas.
Add No Time To Explain in the 1st one and the gang's all here
I know it plays into the same summoning build as these but I really hope Child of the Old Gods joins Prismatic.
I would like to see your lighting surge build, I’ve been trying to find a fun build for it and haven’t yet
Ive been running this setup since day 1, makes basically every encounter in a raid or dungeon a cake walk. I even used it in GM excision
Im suprised for the buddy build he didnt mention running NTTE for the 4th and final buddy
Haven’t solo’d a dungeon since spire, and this build with prismatic gave me enough confidence to try Warlords, and it was great (almost flawless but I blew myself up on final boss by accident)
I tried ghosts of the deep as a joke for a minute while a friend watched me, it was going okay on Ecthar, I did the first dps phase then left, didn’t feel like running through that slog of a solo dungeon at the time, might revisit though
For me I find the entire first row of prismatic fragments entirely pointless, I have ZERO issues filling my transcendence bar just from dealing damage without using microcosm or even camping kinetic weapons, I mean shit just the stasis turret and arc buddy and fill both bars from 1 grenade if done properly, so for my getaway artist build with feed the void I use;
Protection, Courage, Awakening, Ruin and Purpose
Then if going triple buddy with Hellion I also run Balance/Solitude, seems to do the job just fine for me
I did 50 rounds of Onslaught with both builds and would say the latter is more fun but feed the void is just better and more consistent
Ive been rocking devour and bleak with a class item that gives me invis on melee and finisher and synthos for more reliable kills. It's alot of fun. Been doing this weeks GM solo no problem. Can take care of all 3 champ types.
Weaver's Call and Hellion should work with Phoenix Dive if you're trying to move around a lot.
On the first build, I would recommend Devour with Hellion instead of Bleak Watcher in easier content. You really don’t need the crowd control most of the time.
I wish we had a special pulse to pair with final warning this season. Just something for barrier champs while running final warning.
Now for your final challenge. Make a video of great Hunter Prismatic builds that aren’t still hunt or melee based
I used Swarmers and Hellion for most of my play time, I didn't even know about BleakGetaway until the 2nd week lmao
I feel like I can just slap weaver's call & feed the void together, throw on a rufus & the swarmers, and have literally all the grenades, all the time, on an even better setup than base strand warlock (albeit losing Evolution, Generation & the fragment that makes threadricks on strand weapon kills, which do all hurt)
Need to make the time to throw this together into an in game loadout and take it for a spin.
Facet of Dominance counts for the pris nade on warlock so it's an easy way to add weaken during a DPS phase
This right here
Oh look another getaway artist build...
Throw on no time to explain too for ultimate meme potential
A warning for Threaded Blast: I'm _pretty sure_ the AoE kills _your own Threadlings_ if any are on the ground inside the explosion radius. It shouldn't delete the ones being spawned from destroying the Tangle since those will pop out & should still be falling when it goes off (in most cases).
If anyone wants to do testing to double-check that it is doing this, feel free to correct me if necessary. I got the feeling this was happening while running around with Aisha's Care and Traveller's Propagation in The Pale Heart.
Lightning surge pluss felwinters helm is so good. Works in endgame to because of the weaken effect
Lep is finding it more and more difficult to throw for content with all this power creep 😂
Need the 'Builds to see us out' video Dat.
I’m so glad that Well of Radiance was nerfed because Getaway Artist Prismatic Warlock has been a blast in LFG.
Helps with song of flame and nova a lot
You summon your "raid team" whenever you reach a high health target or big group of enemies and put a div bubble on the biggest enemy.
mataidoxia has been my go to for prismatic actually
The thorn build is really fun. Always have super and prismatic
alright datto, we got it, now make a good titan build.
i have something similar to the second build. same aspects, but i run arcane needle / storm grenade with facet of bravery (volatile rounds on nade kills, unravelling on melee kills), then im gonna be hunting down a HOIL/swarmers class item roll. though your video has made me consider facet of solitude for tangle creation even while im focusing on light damage.
Awesome video!!!! I can’t wait for the hunter version!!!!!!
fellwinters warlock with lightning surge is great fun and very usefull
