Here's a few more tips I found useful. 1. Your magical attacks have alternate uses in this game(ice to slide into a flow motion attack) 2. you are very limited in how many items you can bring into a fight because items do not stack in your inventory. However you can set these so that they auto refresh after each battle by pressing triangle. 3. you may have figured this one out already but you can store form changes simply by swapping to another keyblade. This is a great strategy to start a encounter off strong. 4. If your looking for a specific item certain worlds have a higher chance of giving you similar ones. (twilight items in twilight town, frost in Arendell, exc.)

Always use blizzard to travel around. When casting blizzard in front of you, a ice rail will appear. Sora can slide over this to quickly reduce his running time around a map. Cast Aero and jump onto the tornado to be slingshotted into the air under flowmotion. You can use this to deal an heavy strike to an enemy'.

A spin-off follows a different narrative. All the console games, including the handhelds, connect to the Xehanort/Dark Seeker Saga and contribute something to it. Even re:coded links the characters from Birth by Sleep and Days to Sora and that he is their salvation, the means by which he is being explored in Dream Drop Distance. Chain of Memories introduces Organisation XIII and is the start of Riku’s redemption arc, which follows through in 2, Days and Dream Drop Distance. If you only follow the numbered titles and ignore the non-numbered games, you’ll be lost. This happened as early as Kingdom Hearts 2 where some characters and story threads were begun in Chain of Memories. The FMV intro as well as dialogue in the prologue does help players playing attention to get up to speed, but there’s still questions like why Sora is in the pod and how Riku and Mickey came back from the Realm of Darkness. Kingdom Hearts 3 has a scene where Riku mentions replicas, and then remarks Sora wouldn’t remember. This is a reference to Chain of Memories. The concept of replicas and Nobodies growing hearts is key to KH3 and was explored in CoM, Days and DDD. The fates of Terra, Ventus and Aqua are key plot moments that connect to Birth by Sleep, with Mickey and Riku piecing together what happened in the climax of that game’s final episode. So don’t tell me these games don’t matter, as they contribute to at least half the story threads in KH3. The Meow Wow Dream Eater is even a summon in KH3.
How is it filled? This is a crossover series and 1&2 also were half Disney half OC. If you pay attention to what is happening in the world's it usually does apply to what Sora is learning, or applies to the Organizations plans. Like TB world where Xehanort comments even empty vessels can hold hearts and that applies to the main story for both him and Sora.
I'm one of those players who relies on magic more like how Aqua was like in BBS, some of the special attacks are pretty funny. That tea cups thing made me laugh
You can save formations gauges of one keyblade by switching to another. So long as there are no cutscenes. Use links to restore your partys hp and mp. Use available triangle skills after a healing spell to set animations to create invincibilty while you wait for your mp gauge to restore.
If they ever make a critical mode I hope it'll be free DLC instead of paid. That would break my heart if I gotta spend more money for a higher difficulty. 😢
Jaltheos are u crazy? Kh 2 is harder than this game when i play proud mode in kh 2 i nearly died over a dusk nobody but in kh 3 its too hard to die over small enemies
Yeah be sure to sort through the special attacks to avoid Rage Form because it does restore your health but you also can’t heal until it wears off and that can cost you a fight
I find it funny how kh3 is the only kingdom hearts game where I kept the kingdom key for the whole game, it’s actually not useless after the first 3 worlds like usual
Here’s a better tip than anything these people have. Customise Donald’s commands so that he heals only you and not the rest of the team. Then every time Rage Form pops up, you can use it and be healed to max after using the risk power up to max your damage with it. Anyway, am I the only one that found this game had no fucking challenge even on proud? I legit one shot one of the final bosses with the ultima weapon Shotlock as the fight started.. it’s too easy on proud.
OMGitsSTORKY And titles like Birth by Sleep and Dream Drop Distance genuinely progress the story and lore. Birth by Sleep sets up the overall Big Bad Xehanort (1 and 2 introduced his Heartless and Nobody forms, but BbS is the introduction of Xehanort proper) and his motivation throughout the Dark Seeker Saga, while Dream Drop Distance shows how he intends to reach his endgame as well as setting up the characters for the final confrontation with him. Re:coded, 358/2 Days and 0.2 are still important to the story in that they fill in gaps in the narrative, but still connect to the Dark Seeker Saga. The only entry in the series to be not part of the Dark Seeker Saga is the X/Union X mobile game, which explores the backstory of the first Keyblade War and will link into the storyline following the Dark Seeker Saga.
