- In this compelling episode, political analyst Sami Hamdi dives into how the genocide in Gaza affects international politics and elections, influencing perceptions across both Muslim and non-Muslim nations. Sami reflects on his personal journey, sharing experiences of humiliation that shaped his perspective and taught him that real change happens gradually, not overnight. He challenges the belief of a ‘weak Ummah’, arguing that anti-Islamic rhetoric reveals deeper fears about Islam’s growing impact. Join us for an insightful discussion on Gaza’s global influence, the strength of the Muslim community, and the slow but steady process of personal and political transformation.
Sami is the same online as he is in real life. He is passionate, speaks with conviction and sows a fire within all of us that we need. Sami Hamdi has revived the Ummah in ways only Allah SWT granted him to. Alhamdullilah ❤ Barakallahu feek
@dondytan got a complete rinse ,
#dondyran from Christian Prince !
Thank you Kindred Stories..this is the best episode for me.
After listening to Sami, sambil potong bawang nak masak, it just wake me up.
My friends and I ran an NGO for children here in Alor Setar. We provided tuition for the less fortunatw children especially for Form 4 students (to prepare them for SPM and also kelas membaca.
Despite so many issues, the program pull through satisfactory. There were classes every week.
However, it s all come to halt after Covid plus funds were shrinking as it was directed towards covid necessities like infant milk and diapers and foodbox.
It s been tiring because it the team only work on paper. We managed to mobilize some volunteers but they didnt last.
In this podcast, when Sami said, "We are judged by we do, not by what we achieve", it s a wake up call for me.
The program start from zero. And it just need a spark to rise again.
Please pray for our tiny NGO to push forward our #klassofhope (spm and kelas membaca). Amin. InsyaAllah.
wow. crying so much after this one. we care too much about achieving in our lifetime but never realized that the Prophet Muhammad Never saw the results of his labour in his lifetime. That was liberating. We should focus on the doing and not worrying the result. the ummah will keep going and insyaallah only good things will spread all over the world.
Alot of muslims have been brainwashed (through their parents and society at large) into thinking that the best life is the western life, the most sophisticated life. Do they not realise that the best way is Muhammad's way, the only one recognized by God? From waking up to going to sleep, to earning and governing, theres a Muhammad way to doing everything. Allah is only pleased with the way of Muhammad. Whoever follows every other way other than Muhammad has seriously gone astray.
This is the best episode ever from Kindred Stories. It shifted my perspective 100%, not just on Gaza but also on how I see the purpose of life.
Sama..
Bro, i cried bro … thank you for this episode. With Maulidur Rasul just around the corner, it is a perfect time.
Same here wow in sha Allah as he says may Allah o alam
I cried when Sami cried. Such moving and powerful words to keep us moving and do positive changes for Ummah especially when one faces fatigue in the cause of Palestine. May Allah guide us thru hardships and change our perspectives in eyes of optimism no matter the outcomes are 🤲🏻
Malay muslims in Malaysia must listen to Sami Hamidi that will stop and eradicate corruption that is the viral disease in this country.
My tears cannot stop streaming listening to the advice Sami's father had taught him 😢 about our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW.
Subhanallah
Jazakallahu khayran KJ and Shahril for having Sami as your guest. Masya Allah, Tabarakallah
May Allah bless and protect Sami, his family and may he be amongst the BELOVED and CLOSEST servant to Allah AzaWaJal.Ameen, allahumma ameen.
And may Allah bless Khairy n Shahril, for bringing all the amazing speakers, and enlightening us with knowledge, Islamically and politically.
I cried when u told us about response from a young boy what would you ask Nabi Muhammad S.A.W when you see him in Jannah 😭. Um asking myself also the same question. And yes i also don't have any questions for him but to thanks Nabi Muhammad S.A.W for not giving up until you completed delivering Islam as Allah S.W.T want it to.
For the speaker's ;sami... You have wake some of us or many of us that do not fill hopeless as we can do anything for ummah especially to help our brothers and sisters at Gaza... Do not think about the outcome because that's Allah S.W.T to decide. But do it want ever we can do for the sake of Allah. I will ask all my friends to watch this episodes. This is really important and inspiring... For us to keep on moving. It's the ummah who can change something (atas keizinan Allah) ... Not the rules or any government or leaders. We can change.. The ummah need to change.
Mindblown by the inspiring message of Brother Sami Hamdi. 1st time I've listened to him & he made my tears drop with the story with Rasulullah SAW in Jannatul Firdaus & his message changed my perspective of the struggle for Palestine & the Ummah that we may not see in our lifetime. Its what we contribute & strive for that matters. A heart moving podcast. TQ Sami & TQ KS.
This is really the most emotional talk i ever heard from Sami, Jazaakallahu khayran
So so so beautiful. Don’t know why im in tears listening to Sami explaining about jannah. It just hit me hard to the core
This video may not touch many numbers, but it touches deeply to those who matters.
Have been following Sami for his passionate podcasts ,
He never fails to leave me awe struck , but this time his tears left us in tears too .
In this day and age , we need more people like him to give us a wake up call .
Worldly problems with spiritual remedies.
Barakallah feekum to Sami hamdi & the kindred team.
For the first time listening to a pod cast to cry in the middle and at the end! Our ummah is strong because Allah is The Most Strong!
If there is only one episode of KS that a malay muslim malaysian needs to watch, it is this❤ may Allah give strength to this ummah and may we get many many more people like brother Sami
first time i cried so much listening to a podcast. strong message indeed from sami to all muslims.
Subhanallah Sami is so right..Malaysians have such a huge impact on muslim world..I just told my husband yesterday.. let's move to Malaysia..There is a reason Dr Zakir Naik chose Malaysia over any other muslim nation in the world.
Please don't delay the telecast for so long ..especially when it is brother Sami😊.
We need people like brother Hamdi in this world , Allah has granted him with a fire, passion and hope that is inspiring and contagious. I cried many tiles throughout his talk. May Allah reward him ,I thank Allah for giving Sami Hamdi to this Ummah, May Allah reward him in this life preserve him and in the next life with Jannah firdaus Al Al'a 🌻🌹🤍

The best podcast I’ve ever listened/watched.
Betul2 menusuk kalbu, jiwa dan iman.
Jazakallahu khair kepada semua yg terlibat.
Alhamdulillah and thank you KJ & SH for finally bringing Sami Hamdi to KS. I've been waiting for this happen since I first listened to him in the Thinking Muslim podcast. Very eloquent speaker with Islamic values deep inside him and he speaks to energize the ummah.
Well done.
Subhanallah. My God. I've never been this inspired by a speech. It has been 5 hours after, Wallahi im like a child who look at things from different perspectives now. Thank you Ya Allah. Thank U KS.
Wow. This man is remarkable, using reverse psychology in a way that gently encourages us to reflect deeply on our role in shaping the world's geopolitical landscape.
True indeed...tears welled and course down listening to Sami...O Allah give guidance, strength and unite the Ummah...
“O Allah, send Your blessings on Muhammad and his family.”
I keep commenting before this to invite Sami Hamdi for the podcast, as he is a political analyst. But man, what a great show. This is the first time I have ever cried listening to a podcast.
you gave me tears brother
i will not stop believing in the ummah i will fight to liberate all muslims around the world
Thank you sami for the reminder to keep moving. I cried and cried.. allahu akbar
Its not the result, but its the struggle, no matter how small it is. If every single of Muslim wish for the change and contribute for the change, Allah will change it
I love the thinking muslim. But brother Sami is best heard uncut, unedited in long form conversations.
May Allah bless him that he may continue spreading the message.
Wallahi..for me this is THE BEST of Sami so far. The best Guest with the intelligent Host. And Shahril also is very intelligent as well Sami, you are a beacon for humankinds searching for lights in the extreme darkness. InsyaAllah there will be more Sami.
Sami may not be aware but Senator Fatima Payman was actually in attendance at his presentation in Perth (I know coz I was there and saw her sitting quietly at the back) shortly before her brave stance in Australian parliament
I was fully awake in this long episode. Bro Sami is truly a blessing for the ummah. May Allah protect him wherever he goes.
Alhamdulillah. Thank you for bringing brother Sami. As an Ummah, we need to go back to AlQuran and Sunnah.
This man gave me some peace 10 months ago when I was crying all the time about the live stream retaliation geno cide. I couldn’t believe I lived in a world where people can see babies in pieces and go on living like nothing is going on.
Alhamdulillah...great intellectual discourse. Very inspiring with the passion and conviction demonstrated by Bro Sami Hamdi. Islam and Muslims need more people like Bro Sami Hamdi to open the eyes of the people who are against Islam and Muslims. This is the way to fight Islamiphobia. Kudos to KJ, SH and Team KS for bringing Bro Sami Hamdi to us through this podcast. The best episode so far.
One of the best kindred interview. High pace all the way without a glitch at all. 🥰
Sami my dear Sami you are doing well and utterly wonderful. The one and half billion Muslim umma needs to come together. I knew my religion when I was abroad in a non Muslim country. The awakening of the umma is an obsolete. Keep up those podcasts and increase the awareness in the umma.
Subahanallah! Shukria brother Sami! I pray the ummah hear you and that we wake up! We need to sacrifice, nothing comes from comfort, nothing comes without struggle! Allah keep you and your family safe, Allah open doors for you to reach more of us in the ummah, Ameen!
I simply ADORE SAMI, always enlightening, fullfilling and inspirational to listen to SAMI. Alghamdulilaah we are so blessed having you❤ 🤲
Alhamdulillah for sending Sami to Kindred Stories.
One of the best that I've heard. Tq Sami, tq Kindred Stories
Subhanallah this is a very powerful podcast. May allah bless Sami Hamdi and to all, lets move and rise for islam
JazakAllahu khair Sami for reminding us to keep striving in our own ways. Wonderful episode, thank you KS.
Subhanallah brother sami you had ignited the Spark of Love we do with our prophet Muhammad s.a in the whole Umma.
Allahumma, guide your Ummah to the right path of struggle and grant Sami and the participants Jannah !❤
Love brother Sami, saw him a live at IAGD, Michigan. Can’t get enough of him to saw or hear his speech. Glad to hear your podcast. Greeting from Michigan, USA
Thank you for the sincere words brother Sami. We will be victorious. Insya Allah.
Tq for bringing Sami Hamdi to Kindred Stories. He inspires us to move move and move for the Ummah.
1:30:00 after hearing up to this point, i cant help but appreciate the effort given by the tablighi jamaat: selfless, always having fellow muslims best interest at heart, calling people to return to the way of Muhammad, and most importantly theyre consistently striving in the path of Allah irrespective of conditions and outcomes. They just keep moving. May Allah reward their actions immensely
Br Sami just cuts through the BS. His clarity in thought and speech is electrifying. By far my fav of kindred stories!
Lot of delightful moments in this podcast, one being Mr Khairy's extended hearty laughter at Sami's witty reflections. Mr Shahril, though he keeps mute mostly, does have the right remarks on queue.
May Allah protect Sami for this ummah nowadays.
Thank you very much for this moving podcast
Thank you. Subhanallah, I've been waiting for this. Alhamdulillah ❤
The best Kindred Stories...
Seeking knowledge, sowing kindness, moving ummah
KS's guests are becoming more interesting & great to see you work together with the Thinking Muslim's podcast team. 2 of my fav
Incredibly powerful reminders. JazakAllah Khair
Mind blowing! Full of high energy.. this is what we need to hear..
MasyaAllah🇵🇸🇲🇾 Yes, we have to MOVE & make a change.
Masyallah. Thanks for the great interview. Brother Sami is always vr passionate in his interviews and he is even more here. He’s right we can’t control the outcome but what’s important is we try to do what is right. And may Allah swt accept all our good deeds. I hope kindred stories will have another episode discussing about what he said. Byk benda nk unpack 😅. Especially when he pointed out about the relation between iman and struggle. The palestinians have that level of iman bcos of their struggles. Imagine being able to say alhamdulillah after 10 members of your family being killed/bombed. Kat malaysia ni I noticed benda baik je ckp alhamdulillah. For them everything good or bad is alhamdulillah. That is such an eye opening thing for me personally. Hope to get that level of iman one day insyallah - for all of us. Aminn.
Don't be upset brothers Islam will supersede in the whole world inshallah.
MasyaAllah I cried so many time listening to Sami words
This episode set new benchmark for Kindered Stories. Remarkable speaker.
Wow. My favourite speaker. Thumbs up to KS team manage to get Sami as a guest

Finally!!! Sami Hamdi the man! Helluva a speaker! So passionate! Nice one Kindred Stories!

I love this guy, thanks for bringing him in
1:40:56 “The Ummah has always been strong because Allah is strong. The Ummah has always had power because Allah has the power.
And the moment the Ummah realises this, that the greatest sacrifice is to dedicate your service to Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala on the basis of what you will say to him Yawm al-Qiyamah, that’s when we become glorious.”
Our qunut nazilah is working. Allah is changing the hearts and opinion of people and governments the world over. Keep on making dua. Allah is listening. Hasbunallah wa nikmal wakieel.
May peace be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad.
O Sami you made me cry today
Jazakallah for this power talk. May Allah give Khair to this Umma
Love listening to Sami, keep up the brilliant work, I love counting how many times he says "ill finish with this" an hour later... "I'll finish with this" he's passion is contagious 😂
Sami mentioned..Malaysians did not realised how influential our role in the world and that they are following our politics from outside..and im like 😱😱hamaigaad this is embarrassing!!!!
Allahumma sale ala Mohammad wa Aale Mohammad wa Jame ambiya wal mursalin. Subhanallah our iman is our strength and Allah is The Mightiest.
All is in Allah plan....just be patient and do our best in helping Islam and Muslim all around the world... Change ourself first InsyaaAllah Allah will change the world!
Can’t believe you manage to hide this away from us since July 😂. Always thinking about the possibility for KS to talk to Sami, now i get the answer. Thank you KS and Sami for making this happen
I watched this episode several times … the ilmu is priceless … even KS were speechless 😮
I really appreciate Sami's ability to put struggle about Gaza in perspective, despite being an atheist European expat living in California. Sami's attitude explains why people in Gaza will survive.
Ma’Sah’Allah beautiful talk. May Allah bless and protect all those involved.
If there is one speaker that gave me an clear realisation of my purpose in this world, it would be Sami Hamdi. Khairy is indeed correct, Sami is one of the most prominent muslim speaker in this time, so much so that KS traded him with Malaysia’s longest serve Prime Minister 😂. That alone tells you how impactful Sami’s words are.
What an episode full of energy💪🏻💪🏻
I laughed and cried ..the best ever episode as of now.. ya Allah jadi kan lah kami pejuang2 Agama Mu Dan jadi kan lah penentang2 Agama Mu pembela Agama Mu!!
Wow... 👏 👏 👏 Sami Hamdi, has a way with explaining what we actually need to pay attention to, i could not contain my tears towards the end, this was such an eye opener, thank you for having Sami, we so appreciate his birds eye view on this genocide. Sami, thank you, we love you, we appreciate you❤ 👏 👏 👏
As-salam 'alaykoum
Thank you very much for this episode. I'm discovering your work with this amazing interview. So much passion. May Allah bless you all and make us the vehicles for greater good.
May Allah forgive us! Wallahi our level of appreciation towards Him and his blessed messenger (peace be upon him) is too much low.
Masha Allah Sami's positivity is very contagious❤❤
May Allah SWT protect you and your family Especially from Shaitan who tries to infiltrate the hearts of the believers
I put this lecture on and listened and slept and dreamt you bro Sami were live among me my family and students
I was touched to the core when you mentioned you spent only 30 days with your family in 6 months What a supportive family May Allah SWT reward you and the bountifully and us all Ameen yaa Robb
43:15 “Has the Seerah become fairy tales that you cannot see Khalid Ibn Waleed in the UK today, Amru bin ‘As in the US today”…
This was a very powerful moment for me. Seeing how Sami embraces the goodness in the Western culture and doesn’t make Islam exclusive.
I am a Malaysian. Married to a Caucasian American, who came to Islam through his research, I have heard many times from him, how many born Muslims think they know better and he should just listen to them.
I wanna improve myself in soo many ways listening to this beautiful and powerful podcast.
Thank you Kindred Stories ❤
this need more views and more likes.. come on people. share this all over
Thank you KS for inviting Sami. I have heard Sami on several different podcasts in the past and always find him inspiring. But this was a on another level. May Allah preserve all of you.
I was so disappointed when I heard that this podcast was recorded in July 20th 😢. Like maann, I really wanted to hear about what’s happening now
Sami Hamdi was in Malaysia for Ummatics in July 2024. I think it's normal for podcasts to be prerecorded. And also there is less Sami content being uploaded on YT too lately. Maybe he's being shadowbanned ?
I met Br Sami and MasyaAllah,he is amazing and I hope he comes to Malaysia again !
@@hawaboutnow man I really want to meet him 😢
I don’t think he’s shadowbanned, I’ve been following him and I’m assuming that he takes a quick break from time to time, and I think that he honestly should do that
wow, I didn't know you and Shahril have another channel. Great job guys
50:05 spot on question. Thanks Shahril, appreciate this.
The most impactful episode for me so far. Thank you.
One of the best if not the best Kindred Stories episode. I say let Sami talk for 3 hours if he wants
Inspiring!... Something that i need these days
Finally!! Sami Hamdi!!!!. Good job ks
MasyaAllah. Very moving & really passionate conversation about a perspective that we might not have unlocked before, which was hidden inside each and every one of us. It’s time to awaken the giant within us 🔥
