Ratio of civilians to military personnel killed on the 7th was 1 . 4 : 1 - lower than any of the iTf "mowing" operations, which has a ratio of 7 : 1
According to UN OCHA data from 2008 to 2022; The collateral damage on the 7th was significantly lower than any of the ITf "mowing" operations, which had a ratio of 7:1 with 1,023 military personnel out of 6,541 total. For such an serious and important subject as Gaza, I find it repulsive to hear Sami crack jokes every single time he's invited to speak. I stopped listening at 21:44 and gave the vid a 👎. Every time he's invited he tells the same 'jokes'. I hope that the organisation can advise this brother that it's an inappropriate behaviour. wALLAH ou a3lam.
I think what he says from about 24:00-30:00 makes up for any flippancy. It’s a pretty serious indictment of us in the US.
Agreed, this is not one of his better speeches. There are parts that are still helpful but I would recommend his lectures on Thinking Muslim and other podcasts, he gives more serious and helpful political discourses. I think he had an off-day with this speech.
