Texas trailed for less than a minute against Bama and ran the clock out for the last 9 minutes of the game. Hou was hangover game after the RRR. Tcu was played with a qb who wasn’t fully ready to come back from injury and it’s pretty obvious if you watched the whole game. Kansas State was a top 25 ranked team going into that game and was played with a backup qb in his second start.

I thought the saying was “defense wins championships”? Texas lost 9 starters on defense and have been in desperate need of DL. They had 1 good season and won their conference for first time in over a decade and somehow everyone thinks they’re gonna be in contention for a chip?!?! Hell no!!

I think uga takes a step back. Bowers and mcconkey carried them last year. Especially bowers. OSU/Texas are the true contenders this year. Then uga/oregon. After that? Also rans. Michigan/bama. Both 9-3.
Brock and Mcconkey didn’t carry the team Brock carried during the. Auburn game but after that both of them didn’t really play much during the beginning of the season, I feel as if it cleared space for UGA to incorporate more targets in the offense and get the ball in different play makers hands, going based off the Spring games for these teams I feel that UGA will take a big Leap this year as they did toward the end of the season. They just had two Dominate players who they were going to back to back late in the season but now that clears the space for more targets

lol you definitely didn't follow Georgia football last year then....McConkey was out for basically the whole season. He didn't have much of an impact at all. Bowers was definitely a key player until he got hurt mid-season against Vanderbilt. He didn't play much after that...Georgia will for sure be fine going forward.
@@Bazor80 you’re right. Mcconkey was hurt. Bowers carried them. He was unstoppable. He and mcconkey payed at 2/3 speed in the sec championship, and that’s why they lost. He gone now. Without bowers last year, uga loses twice.
