Chaz Mostert of V8 Supercars, big talent with diverse experience, just won class in a Mercedes AMG at Spa last weekend and will be racing in Townsville this weekend for his Supercar team along with and against SVG. He's mature and obviously a total Pro like Shane is.
mostert would race just as hard against drivers in nascar along with waters and many more aussie kiwi drivers their that confident in going fast in close racing
Within a couple of years, the good ole boys running out of a garage in Charlotte will not be competitive anymore. In three years, Nascar will change fundamentally. It will be one third each of oval tracks, road courses and street races, and the field will have lots of international drivers with 15 years experience and 3 championships like Shane Van Gisbergen. Teams will have two sets of drivers, ones for ovals and the others for the other two formats. Each requires different skill sets. It will be finally in the big time internationally, like Supercars have become with millions of TV viewers. Chicago just proved the point.
what everyone is wrong about is supercar only race on 3-4 street courses a year rest of the racing is on full time race track or what you guys call road courses and shane is 2x as good on road course
As Shane said any of the Top 10 Supercar drivers would be the right choice. As for F1, had a couple at Bathurst and it takes them a lot longer to adjust - doubt if any would win on their first time.
Castroneves is old and doesn't have SVG's abilities. Lewis says things just so he looks good. He is extremely PC and has no intention of doing Nascar ever and will lie to your face just to give you a response he thinks you want to hear.

I'd want to see Brodie come back over, or Waters. Mozzy seems like a better GT guy, but I'd still love to see it.
SVG has 1st right of refusal of the #91 as stated by Justin Marks before anyone else is offered the seat.
Scott McLoughlin is also a 3x Australian supercar champion and with oval experience in IndyCar would also be interesting
