I have 125k miles and it’s my second time doing it. The first time I did it at around 93k and it was an after market gasket, it started leaking a few months later( I know I waited a long time to re do it since it wasn’t leaking much). I just did it again but I got the gasket from Honda and it seems to be working a lot better.
How did you get those 2 black cable next to the green cable?? Mine is hard to pull when pressing. My finger hurt. Also, the nut on alternator cable is so hard and i get it off. The black plastic around that crack and side piece came off also little crack on the bottom as well.

Just finished the job. Thanks for the great video!
Very through video! Is there a certain wait time before you can start the engine? I've heard three hours. What is your experience?
My experience is right away
@@HelpingHandAutoRepairThanks!
@@jp-nq5wd I waited about 2 hours to let the Gasket maker cure in between the cracks
@@IVAN2233 Thanks! I think I'll do the same to be sure.
