Are the loovers also insulated? i cant seem to find that info anywhere. Our current 40 yr old Noisy whole house fan is a giant heat sink in the summer & a pneumonia hole in the winter lol. looking to upgrade
Thanks for the question! There is a foam gasket around the damper which helps to seal when the fan is not in use. In our 75 year old home, we haven’t noticed any real heat intrusion in the summer or cold area in the winter from where the ceiling box is. Hope this helps!
