Daft punk was probably the best part of my childhood. I only ever got my hands on one album and that was A.L.I.V.E 2007 and it changed my whole view on music at 13 years old.
That movie was a masterpiece ahead of its time. I don't think I've seen another that perfectly blends Visuals + OST to create a such a hard-hitting aesthetic.
This track and the whole album for that matter have been great since day 1. Funny how a stupid app like TikTok and slowing it down make people discover Daft Punk. They have been great for a long time. Even if the Tron Legacy movie was a mixed bag for some people, i always enjoyed the OST.
The movie and music didn't receive the attention it deserved IMO. Glad to see the "tictoc" version brought some attention to this tune. Daft Punk is awesome and this soundtrack is great!
