Not sure why everyone thinks that the Knicks should have kept him. There are reasons he can't stay in the league. His defence is downright atrocious, and his attitude apparently makes him really hard to work with. He's overrated as hell, and he's been exposed multiple times. He has absolutely no potential either.
Wrong. The Knicks didn't even give him a chance. They would only play him once the game was over. Down 20 or more in the 4th Quarter with 3 minutes or less. I guarantee this will come back to haunt the Knicks if this guy is picked up, given a fighting chance, and actually gets to PLAY a real game.

I'm reading some of these comments and a few of them are utterly ridiculous! Jimmer can play, but he has to get on the right team. He's undersized and at a huge disadvantage athletically. Most of these guards nowadays in the NBA are long, lean, fast athletic dudes. He'd have a problem defensively going up against the best of the best night after night. As far as him being "black-balled" from the NBA, that's crazy! If coaches and owners thought he could play, he'd play! You know how much money they'd make with a white superstar?!?!? So to say they're PURPOSELY banning him is crazy! Again .... I think he can play in the league, but I'd have him come off the bench as a role player .... he just has to get on the right team. I think Golden State, OKC and even Cleveland would be a good match ....

WHO DARES uhhhh sorry u r wrong, do some research. Jimmers combine numbers tell a different story. They show he is incredibly fast, athletic , and freakishly strong. He was number 1 for the entire combine in cones. His all out sprint , was faster than Westbrook, and nearly every other top guard in the last decade . And his strength is nearly double that of all the top guards. This is a fact. If people watch him play and understand the speed , and strength and athletic ability it takes to dominate on offense the way he does, to get to the basket at will to change direction to get his shot off , usually on multiple defenders that whole goal is to somehow just slow his offense onslaught down. When his combine performance was not front page news, and talked about AT ALL...I said...wtf something is up. Considering how he is considered possibly the greatest scorer in College history , to test so dominating in speed , strength, agility...its all should be talked about. Yet u have tards, who frankly have seen a few highlights of some games but don't really know much repeating nonsense ...I mean they have to make some reason up as to why he is being blackballed . Now he is in China dominating on a level never seen before, just like the D league, and College..sorry but something is up.

Sorry something is up, why don't the hundreds of other NBA players, who played Dleague then went back to NBA, or played China then went back to NBA, dominate there like he has?? If they are better then why have they not been able to do what he has in High school, College, Dleage, China? Why does he not get minutes?
Jimmer has no NBA worthy skills, except maybe shooting. He can't defend, he can't jump, he doesn't have an amazing handle and he doesn't really have great passing skills. To top it off, he is too short for an NBA shooting guard. Can someone explain to me why they think this guy should be a lock NBA player without question?I don't get it.
