      vince3139 Steph is a much better athlete than Jimmer. Much quicker and a better handle. Taller too. You can only do so much with his physical limitations. Jimmer was never going to be special in the NBA. Hopefully he can carve out a Steve Kerr-like role on the Spurs though.

    • @MeesterSun

      ***** I never hopped on the Jimmer train because of the things you pointed out but just see Patty Mills' success in the 2014 playoffs. Jimmer can replicate that for sure. Just gotta buy into the system.

    • @DrewNusser
      @DrewNusser 8 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      +Brandon Van Jimmer tested much faster and stronger in the combine than Steph (look it up), and he only gives up an inch in height, but has a good 15 lbs of muscle on him. Jimmer is plenty big and athletic for an NBA PG - well above average, actually.
      The big things that Steph has on Jimmer are his handles and a system that adapted to him. That's how he's able to get his shot off with such ease. Hopefully Jimmer figures that part out, because love him or hate him, nobody can deny how fun he was in college.

    and his Player Effeciency Rating puts him
    5th in the NBA for PG's
    behind CP3, Westbrook and T Parker..in front of Rondo, k Irving and
Kemba Walker..These are serious numbers and serious company Fredette has
 put himself n ...not to mention that Fredette is

    I don't know if I can see him being a success in the NBA. He's not very quick and can't create a whole lot of separation between him and his defender, so his one-on-one game will suffer. The stuff he did in college may have worked, but the NBA is a different beast. Just ask JJ Reddick.

    He needs the right team. Not just Coach Smart. Everyone keeps blaming him, but Smart is put in a terrible situation by the GM who keeps going after a guard in trades/singings. Giving Smart 4-5 players who can play the guard position and Jimmer gets lost in the shuffle. That has to do with Sacramento not yet having an identity. First they wanted to build around Tyreke, now possibly Cuz. Once they find an identity, Jimmer will find out if he belongs in SAC or not. Right now he doesn't.

    @killeraddiction Not very quick which is why he was 3rd fastest in lane agility and lateral speed at the combine, far better number than guys like D-Rose or Westbrook and beat out Chris Paul and Deron Williams' 3-4 sprint times...oh, and putting up the most reps out of ALL guards in the bench press at 14.
    He also can't create separation which is why he is able to pull up for J's and drive it to the basket at will....

    the only thing i dont like about this video was that it was pretty much just an assist highlight video and half of them were just regular passes, nobody ever has dang man did you see that pass jimmer threw? I wanted to watch Jimmer show "Jimmer Range"
