I just rode one of these in Austria. There is a video on my channel Ep 8. It was really funny to hear your views on it as it was very similar to mine. I just noticed one of the guys from Livewire was also in Austria. I think it was also those exact bikes as the ones we rode were also on Dutch plates. I'm glad you hate the indicators. I have a Harley Davidson FXDR & im always moaning about how ridiculous of an idea the indicator switch placement is. Great video. Sod riding round that there Landon though.
Great minds think alike there! Yeah I did really enjoy riding it, the indicators were a distraction but mostly it was brilliant fun. Yes london isn't my normal choice of where to ride 😁
Im definitely considering the live wire one in the next few years or in the near future i have never ridden any sort of motorcycle before this would be my first but even for a beginner i feel this could be a bike i could grow with in time
yes I think it would be great for a beginner although you will have to get used to just how fast this thing is without working hard, with my progression from 125 to 600 to 900 now to 1200cc I have massive respect for just how fast these things can shift. but they are great though! the riding modes would help tone it down a bit
@AnotherHipster I agree the speed will be a challenge to get used to however I think my love of rollercoasters may help play a part to adapt to the speed of the bike but I feel I'll be comfortable between 0-40mph maybe 50mph tops anything faster may be a challenge
I enjoyed that and always love your views 👌 for my own experiences with electric I always find the problems are pedestrians as people seem to look with there ears 👂 and not theee eyes keep up the good work 🙏
Cool stuff! Electric cars are definitely worth checking out, especially if you live in a small country like England compared to the US ; ) Really does make London look peaceful... well, for London 😂 @16:31 who is this man : P
hi mate, sorry fr the delay lots of my comments are hidden. Yes still riding but not much to say really so not making any videos, thanks for your new years wishes
@@AnotherHipster Hey mate, lvery timely hear from you. The rubber cover over the power button of my Rider 550 has disintegrated so now there's a hole in the top of my Rider 550. I've contacted TomTom and spent a couple hours on the internet looking for that part or maybe a a repair shop with no luck. Since you're in Europe would you know of any sources for that part?
Awesome Seeing your first electric ride. 👍
Cheers mate, excited to see you go round the UK 👍

Yes they are never really aware of what’s going on, electric is very interesting though 👀
Noice one - great review that pal

9/10.... what would it have taken to get a 10/10? Nice ride/review btw, I enjoyed that.
I think a lower price point and the indicator controls to be on one side like every other bike, glad you enjoyed it!
Suppose they'll get better range, better design and lower price in a few years. Definitely "the future".
Cheers Mark yes I think it’s a nice glimpse at the future, I tested the Zero DSR X today, very impressive with a brilliant seating position
@@AnotherHipster just have to wait for the future then.
Is there a way to adjust the mirrors so they arent so focused on the rider
Hey friend. Still riding? Hope all is well with you?

Mmmm…….an electric bike. Not for me, not yet Jack
Very fair, I don’t think it’s for me either yet but I’m impressed
