What I do to simulate pressure sensitive buttons is go to (PCSX2 > Config > Controllers > Plugin then tick "Allow binding multiple PS2 controls to one PC control under Advanced" then go to "Pad 1" then set two individual buttons one for light press and one for hard press i.e (Click Triangle and set it to Y or w/e button you want triangle to be then configure binding option and set it to low sensitivity or high after that set another triangle to left analogue or w/e button you are comfortable with and set it to the opposite of the button you first set up. It might freak out at first but if you play around with it you'll get it working.
Also I'm using an XBOX ONE controller which I find most comfortable for emulators varying from GAMECUBE games too PS1&2 games.

Best shooter of All-Times in my book, it was my whole childhood...nothing has come close to the joy of Trying to Escort 3 VIPs on Foxhunt (My fav map) with all ur Teammates dead in 1st 15secs of Round (Like 1v8)...Rip Socom :(
