Nice looking build. :) I'd recommend wearing a respirator when sanding, even outside. Doubly so for sanding lead. I'd also want to wear something for the lead fumes, not to mention a face shield; if that molten lead hits any moisture it can splatter quite far. Might be things you already know, but I figured if you knew them you'd already be doing them so.
If I had knew those things when I built the boat, I would have taken more precautions... I knew about the fumes while heating and I held my breath while I as close to the heater and did it outside for that reason. I learnt a lot. I asked for a respirator for Christmas and I will definetely wear face protection, gloves, etc. next time I pour lead. I wasn't expecting the lead to splatter and I was lucky not to get hurt. Thank you for your kind advice.

@@bernarddostie8892 Hello Bernard, excellent sailboat, I will join this request if there is no problem from you and the members of the club. I imagine that the idea is to motivate more people to join the hobby, regardless of whether they are from Canada or not. Greetings from Santiago, Chile!
I know that it's not the perfect material and that there are risks for health, but it's a great material for RC Sailboats because it's so userfriendly. What would you use instead?
@@34Realiststeel would be awful to melt and cast a bulb, it needs to be heated way higher and would require more expensive equipment. I understand the idea but it’s not feasible for most hobbyists
Hi, This is sarah.Your content is quite a match with our brand's service and application scene. I would like to invite you to experience our 3DPrinting service and test our materials. May I ask about your interests?
Hi Sarah, I'm interested in Rc boats, but also planes. I haven't build an RC 3D printed plane yet, but that's on my list for sure and I would love to experiment some Low weight PLA or other material. Other than that, I will build a Jet pump boat next spring and I'm going to need a solid 3D printed or machined part (impeller of the boat). If you're interested to sponsor me I would be glad to make buiseness with you.
