Hi, love your garden!!!! Am also a coleus fan, but I can't manage to keep it alive indoors, and I have no outdoor space. I you have any tips regarding this, please share. What was the whitish plants hanging at the background of the second part of the clip( when you showed your fountain). You are a really creative person. So beautiful all of these!! ! ! .
shree vaishnavi, thank you 😌. I use only organic manure, compost, cow dung & bone meal. I've spoken about it in my video on The Right Soil Mix. And a lot of love &affection 😍😆!!Happy Gardening 👍
Earlier it was a pretty peach colour, it looked very dull & drab, that's when I went for this dark colour. I've spoken about it in one of my early videos, Revamp & Recycle, th-cam.com/video/ntLyqflsPgE/w-d-xo.html
Hello. I picked up 2 potted coleus at the nursery. They were being gotten rid of so I took. They are tall, fairly straight growing and doing very well. I pinched the flowers off and going to repot. My question, should I trim the stalks down?
Namaskar Ji Actually I had already watched this beautiful informative Vedio on COLEOUS, but forgot, now refreshed, will start working on COLEOUS again You got a beautiful Coleous collection and Garden both My 💓 Thanks with regards
Thanks for giving more information on coleus I like it very much ,I have placed order for seeds online from Nursery to odorn my garden,Sajid,,,Pernambut(Tamil Nadu)
Hi Chaitali! Loved your coleus and added few in my balcony. It's monsoon and tough the balcony has shade few leaves appear to have cuts may be because water droplets fell on them. So have now moved them in covered balcony with indirect sun. Wonder if your coleus are placed in open even in rains... any special care needed?
Thanks for this Coleus cuttings tutorial. I have Coleus in my balcony. But it is not very fresh as fresh as yrs. It is dull in look and only very little scattered leaves with 4 or 5 steams. That too it is going to fall down at any time. Why it is so? I am watering every day. I gave banana peel one time for nourishment. Is it correct or what else I have to do. I bought it 6 months back from nursery. only slight sun light in the morning time.
Same with me. I was in school 4th class. A house near my home cuts her rose plant and i picked up that branch grow into a pot at home and till now i have that rose. Mam please make some more vdeos i am always waiting for ur garden update.
Hello maam. I've been very much inspired by ur gardening tips. I'm new in gardening but ur tutorials make me going. I really love ur PARADISE. God bless u for being so nature loving
Hi, Chaitali! Do you have any of the Coleus, with the "white spray" on the leaves? I bought one last summer, foliage was typical green/maroon dapple, but with a lovely white "spray", but a year later, almost all the "spray" has vanished! I thought they would want more sun, but in a place where they get just a couple of hours of early morning sun, the leaves have gone more maroon...any advice/thoughts? Thank you....
In our city colourful varieties not available. From where we could get it? Please guide. I have 5 varieties. You have a beautiful garden with colourfill varieties of coleus.and prudently arranged nice and good wishes.
Before the plant dies, snip off the growing tip & plant into soil, it'll soon have roots. The woodiness in because of its age. It loses the initial healthy look, so it's time to make cuttings.
Chaitali Mam Namaskar 🙏 Good morning You are my inspiration to focus on COLEOUS. Your this Vedio of 2nd Feb 18 is the FIRST I saved for colourful foliage plant. I seek and request for tried/tested remidi from you. Kindly suggest My best Regards 🌷🙏💕
Very informative & seems very easy going plant... Mine went dull in sun so I kept them in shade... 1. It came to me with lots of little new leaves growing... was totally bushy but then growth slows down.. Can you suggest why? 2. Is there any particular month or time to grow it with cutting?? 3. When to start pinching means what shud be the ideal height of the plant???

Coleus is essentially a sun loving plant. I think you're talking of the spider plant.
Beautiful garden, which paint is used for the pots out side
Janaki Krishnan, powder meant for colouring pots, in terracotta colour.

Let me know the time at which it appears.
Thats beautiful, can l grow them in doors
Beautiful garden 😍😍😍😍
Thank you Reshmi:)
If you can help with this doubt. The stems start to lignify and turn woody. Should I let it be or it that the end of the plant ?
Before the plant dies, snip off the growing tip & plant into soil, it'll soon have roots. The woodiness in because of its age. It loses the initial healthy look, so it's time to make cuttings.
pls tell something about sadabahar plant

👍😘 love your videos 😘😘😘😘
Karuna Shetty, thank you for the encouragement 👍
Do I need to wait for the flower part before snip the top? I do want robustly shape plant to fill in this space.
Don't wait for flowering, keep pinching weekly to promote more branching 👍, only then can you get the rotund look!
