How does it compare to the new Kodiaq in materials, built quality and technology?

First off, one does not compare the Passat to the Kodiaq. Compare it to the Superb. And for 62000 Euros, one might get a full spec Skoda Superb VRS, so the VW got quite expensive on their cars these days! If one really wants the best for their money, go for the Skodas.

Checked one out in person, was actually disappointed. Will wait for the Superb and Kodiaq.
The led panel in the dashboard felt cheap and non solid when tapping it.
The led in the doors felt plastic again...
Even the ID7 feels worse then the Skoda Enyaq...

Skoda is of poor quality, built in same factories, but getting the worse parts.
