The Hood was one of my favorites when I was studying abroad! I have a strong memory of them because one day as I was studying with a friend, a homeless man came in to the cafe, looked at us, grabbed our glass of orange juice, drank it all without breaking eye contact, and then left without saying a thing! No other place quite like Paris 😂
I love the way you can just sit outside with your food and drink in Paris and watch the world go by. We stood at a barrel outside a wine shop on the Île Saint-Louis and drank an entire bottle. I'll be back there once lockdown is over!
You're one good storyteller. You make travels so entertaining with lessons/information to be learned by your audience and you do it with so much gusto/enthusiasm. Thank you. You have become my prime travel resource and I hope everyone who watches appreciates your good work.
Cafe Marly, is one of my favorite places in Paris. I try to go twice on every visit. Besides the view, I love their filet with garlic mashed and bearnaise sauce!!!
There is simply no other place in the world like Paris! I have visited many places around the world and Paris is truly unique. Thanks for the wonderful videos!
I'm very grateful for this kind of American channels for reminding me how much there is to taste in my city. Life here is the same as in most large cities: you spend so much time commuting around that you no longer have time to enjoy the place.
Thank you so much for saying that. I LOVE Paris, and I love sharing these travel videos. More videos coming soon! Thanks for commenting and watching! 😀
Mark - you make me smile....I am always so mesmerized by the experiences we have had together, and NOW these new experiences that you take me and the rest of the world on, together. You have an amazing show - I love watching!!
Kari Ellis what a lovely comment from an even lovelier person. Thank you so much for watching and sharing and always supporting! It means the world to me.
Amazing. An exploration of all the senses. I am so thrilled to have found your channel just before I returned to Pari for only my second time. Bonjour, Chana
That Hood place was so cute, vegan sandwich and green cake so cute def going to all these places in June. I am going to Paris, Munich and Rome so your videos are super helpful.
Oh thank goodness! Thanks to you, my Athens trip was a culinary success last December. Now about to head out to Paris and I can count on you once again!
I love Paris. It's the best European city. Maybe the number 2 city. London will always be my favourite European city. Lots of things to do. Something you must do is take a river boat cruise along the Seine on the Batou Mouche. Second, you must do is see the Eiffel Tower at night and go up the Tower. Then visit the Louvre Museum, see the glass Pyramid outside built by I. M Pei outside and the Mona Lisa painting by Leonardo da Vinci inside. Then see the Arch de Triomphe, the Pantheon, the Invalides where my hero Napoleon Bonaparte is buried. Oh if you get a chance visit the Palace of Versailles built by Louis XIV, the Sun King and see the Hall of Mirrors.
Love this. I like how you are passionate about the food and everything around you. Very informative. Keep doing the good work. Bdw what is the song at the beginning and at the end of the video?
You know what ? As a French man I can't live a day without eating cheese and it is the most difficult part for me when I travel abroad a long time ! ☺ Nice video , Greetings from France
I enjoy your channel. I would be right in there with you for all the food, however IMHO there are not enough hours in the day or days in the month to get my fill of the Louvre or D'Orsay!! Between Italy and France I could spend my life!
As a Parisian I know a shortcut, a way to completely or at least partially avoid to wait in line for the Louvre... but I I won't tell it because then everybody will know it and it won't be a shortcut anymore! :)))
Le scossa's terrace has a unique and soothing vibe in it although it's not that quiet in there. Great for having few drinks 🍸 Also if you're a carnivore the cote de boeuf was rich and really tasty!
Hi there, thank you so much! Really appreciate that feedback and so glad you are enjoying the videos! Paris part 3 was a lot of fun, love checking out markets and local bistros! 😀
Bakeries are in all Europe, not only in Paris, for example pain au chocolat is quite similar to saccottino (italian), croissant to cornetto and so on, in Italy people don't eat only pasta and meat. In south Europe we have cultural common thinks.
Yes, I have to say I was really impressed with the bakery in Italy, especially Naples and in all my travels in Europe. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hi Joni, that's a great question lol. We're getting there! So please spread the word! And thanks so much for watching and commenting. More videos coming soon! 😀
I thought that lady was going to say "This is my 12th or 13th pandan cake _today_ ". Turns out it is her 12th or 13th pandan cake this _summer_ . Well.
Thanks! I'm not sure, my editor did all that, but you can use apps like Shazam or SoundHound to identify the song, just play the video and the app will recognize the song title and artist! Thanks for watching and commenting!
awesome .....................which song is running in the background plz send me link..awesome place, awesome people...very good music....music and food connects people.
Hi Sophie, thank you so much! My editor does the music so I don't know the song or have the link BUT if you download the App called Shazaam, just play the song in the video, hold the phone up to it and it will identify the song...
Thank you so much! my editor does all that BUT, I think there are some comments here where I had provided that info early one...the easiest thing to do is download the app called Shazam and then play the video and have the app listen to the song and it will tell you the name and artist!
COVID-willing I will be traveling to France next summer and will be in Paris for my birthday (already had to cancel Spain and Ireland). I see this video is a few years old, but are these places expensive or are they accessible to the budget tourist?
Great suggestion, I'll be adding prices to the videos going forward to give an idea of cost for the experiences I share. In Paris, eating reasonably at cafes and street food, I would plan on $75 - $100 per day.
I will never get tired of Paris. Since I’ve seen their “must” places already, I’ll dedicate my next trip to fully explore their gastronomy.
sounds like the perfect plan!

Excellent suggestions! These are definitely must-do's when in Paris...loved Versailles....and enjoyed the boat ride in the garden.
Beer is better in London, but compared to Paris, food and wine sucks..
Love this. I like how you are passionate about the food and everything around you. Very informative. Keep doing the good work. Bdw what is the song at the beginning and at the end of the video?

Ugh. I miss Paris so much. I've went two years in a row and I would go again if it weren't for the heatwave and lack of A/C everywhere.
It is such an amazing city. Thank you for watching and commenting!
