I used to own a silver shadow 1976 car, absolutely gorgeous cars. The drive is , you will never drive another car like it, absolutely stunning. On the look out fir another in 3 or 4 years 😊when i semi retire 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
It's really nice to see someone young enthuse about these old cars. A good one is joy to drive and own, they are a lovely place to be and make you feel very special. It's obvious that previous owners have spent a lot of money maintaining this car in outstanding condition inside an out. The price seems fair as the mileage can't be proven, but it has all the signs of being genuine, my only reservation is the amount of wear around the ignition which I wouldn't expect to see on such low mileage. Being a very late series 1 car definitely adds to the rarity.
I'm not very familiar with these cars but I thought they had an electric fan in front of the radiator, that only comes on when the coolant reaches a certain temp, since the noise here seems to come mostly from that big permanent auxiliary driven fan and it's quite a racket? Later when you drive it, it sounds nice and quiet from inside, so that's a bit curious. Very nice condition and well presented; the leather is in very good condition, since a lot of these have cracked seats. Boot carpet very worn though. The light switch is very worn too, not sure how, rings and long nails? Fair price for such a good low mileage example and if I had a garage and time, and more importantly, of course, the spare money right now I'd be having a serious look. After that one on Harry's Garage they've piqued my interest again, as when I was a kid and they were new. A proper Roller, perhaps the last, not an aggressive German designed juggernaut like now, with the awful headlights.
I am with you on this car to me there are a few questions , very noisy on tick over , a lot of wear in the boot also in the engine compartment and dash . I think someone has done a really good paint job and clean up . Its a very pretty car but one I stay clear of, you would think a car that is a clean as this would have full service history .
Best shape the 1 and 2 prefer the 1 coz of the bumpers my favourite car in the world out off all the rollers none of the new plastic looking ones these days .stunning looking motor
Not all cars had front head restraints. They only became standard when legislation mandated them in the 1980s. Headrests to the front seats were always an option and were rare.
Remember that car tires have an expiration date!!!! The date is on the inside of each tire. MAXIMIUM is 5 years according to Firestone dealer I go to. If over 5 or 6 years obtain new tires.
Even today it might still be worth $10,000. But I'm sure you want to retire and need half a mil. I was thinking about it but saw the steering was on the wrong side, so I'll pass. Just put it a museum, if they still take them. blah, blah, blah... It's just a car. They all break down.
Awful to own & Run. ( After warranty expiration) They sent you bankrupt. Mercedes Benz of the Era we're light years ahead. Even basic Benz were Superior. We used to jokingly call these Crewe abominations " Roley Polies"

@shaunmckenna1923 its not good close up paint match.not good steer clear engine doesn't sound right
That steering wheel looks so skinny by modern standards. Lovely motor.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
One of the last Silver Shadow's built. The Silver Shadow II was introduced in 1977.
Duck head was a late shadow 1 went on with shadow 2
I suspect, the engine sound is not from the RR. The head rests are missing. Lovely car and presentation.

I think the colour was called Larch Green?
How much mate
Volks Wagon gave Rolls Royce / Bentley

10 years is fair enough.
That's not a 1977 series 2.
Maybe a late 1976 final series 1.
Ticking over rather too fast even from cold start. Suggest carburettors might need bit of a tune / fettle. Nice example though, it’s 46 years old btw
Can't get the wipers to park?😂
Windshield wipers not properly parked.
Fabulous Car...but I would never own one in that colour..
Bet your good at Maths when it comes to a deal!!!!
Clean car.. but is it a 77? Looks like an older production model.
Yes, it is a 1977 model.
Very high revving. Idle shoukd be quiet
Green cars don't sell well.
Brittish car manufacturing was
so financially unviably bad.
That Foreign entities bought them out
and resuscitated the Brands.
There is no such car as a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow 1. It's a Silver Shadow.

Mercedes Benz of the Era
we're light years ahead.
Even basic Benz were Superior.

Crewe abominations
" Roley Polies"
Lol zero fuel as usual
My 1970 Peugeot 404 ticks over quieter than this car.
That's because it's made by peasants - who have nothing to 'shout' about.
Does your Peugeot have a V8 6.75 litre 412 cubic inch engine ? I'm guessing it doesn't.
