Some setting solution will do that, best bet is apply it as best as you can just to the decal itself and wipe away straight away, try not to leave it sitting and pooling at any point, it has a acid base (most do i think) so it will etch in. if it does leave a mark, try tamiya compounds, but best to wipe it away initially. -james
