This piano medley is a continuation of an EPCOT musical journey I began after releasing my first medley during EPCOT's 35th anniversary a few years ago. Diving deeper into this park, it's history, it's philosophy, and the many wonderful songs and themes written for its various attractions and entertainment offerings, I realized that a single medley only scratched the surface of the music written for the park. Trivia: Most themes I recorded from 'Impressions de France' are original compositions by Buddy Baker. He also composed 'Grim Grinning Ghosts' from Haunted Mansion and 'Journey to the Center of the Earth’ for Tokyo DisneySea.

At the beginning you show Epcot under construction, I have an album full of these because my parents and godfather helped build Epcot. Fun fact one of the things my parents had to do was hire a crew and the first person they interviewed and hired was my godfather. Interestingly my godparents also lived three houses down from my parents in Orlando and they didn’t know each other until Epcot.
@@gijspiano Disney runs in my veins. We used to go there at least 3x a year and hop between the parks. Tip though don't go in the summer. Did it in 98 we ended up having a heat wave. With the heat index it was in triple digits.

I’m only 14 I love the Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand. I don’t even remember my first time hearing, just knowing it. I never found someone with actual park music arrangements! Illuminations will always be my favorite show, hands down, and I miss it so much. They all sound absolutely perfect, and they definitely opened up a fresh can of nostalgia. I’ve been playing for about 3 years, and I hope I can get good enough to create my own arrangements like these!

Gijs Music tough choices. They are all so beautiful. For part 2 I was really excited you included the El Rio Del Tiempo theme, the Barn theme from Living with the Land Boat Ride, and the Innoventions Plaza theme. I can close my eyes and practically feel like I’m at Epcot.

Absolutely masterful. Anyone who's ever cared even a little bit about the music at EPCOT Center, this should be required viewing. I realize the longer (not the hour long piece) Innoventions loop is about 19 minutes and probably a real beast to play through the whole way, but that would be my vote for next longform Epcot-related piece :)

It's very dear to me and I get chills each time I listen, in a way it's kind of a romantic one. I'm not certain for sure what the song name is, could be " Arcs ". It's almost like a ballad / softer lullaby type, with a faint higher octive of the melody in beginning of song then down an octive through the rest of the piece. If needed for reference, and if ok, maybe I could send the link of the loop with a time slot number to recognize the song. Hope it can be in part 3 for sure. Let me know if you recall the piece. I'll admit, if I knew that you were making another one of these, I would have suggested that you add "The 21st Century's Here" from the EPCOT Special "EPCOT Center: The Opening Celebration" featuring Danny Kaye. With that said, I truly do appreciate all of the forgotten pieces that you were able to put into this one anyway. Another fantastic piece of work!! Also, maybe you can do a Hollywood Studios medley next?

Since the original attraction never opened in EPCOT and the Japanese version is now closed, this is really an underappreciated gem. I love its serene opening with that flute solo! Absolutely masterful. Anyone who's ever cared even a little bit about the music at EPCOT Center, this should be required viewing. I realize the longer (not the hour long piece) Innoventions loop is about 19 minutes and probably a real beast to play through the whole way, but that would be my vote for next longform Epcot-related piece :)

@@gijspiano Hi Gijs, Thank you for reply ! So awesome you're creating a part 3. Yes Im very happy to say I'm in love with one particular piece in Epcot Future World music loop. It's very dear to me and I get chills each time I listen, in a way it's kind of a romantic one. I'm not certain for sure what the song name is, could be " Arcs ". It's almost like a ballad / softer lullaby type, with a faint higher octive of the melody in beginning of song then down an octive through the rest of the piece. If needed for reference, and if ok, maybe I could send the link of the loop with a time slot number to recognize the song. Hope it can be in part 3 for sure.

I'll admit, if I knew that you were making another one of these, I would have suggested that you add "The 21st Century's Here" from the EPCOT Special "EPCOT Center: The Opening Celebration" featuring Danny Kaye.
With that said, I truly do appreciate all of the forgotten pieces that you were able to put into this one anyway. Another fantastic piece of work!!
Also, maybe you can do a Hollywood Studios medley next?

EPCOT is my favorite, so I'm glad to see everything, including the lesser known/forgotten treasures of it's musical history, are being appreciated and showcased in such a manner.
Thank you so very much for including the Sherman Brothers' "Meet the World"! Since the original attraction never opened in EPCOT and the Japanese version is now closed, this is really an underappreciated gem. I love its serene opening with that flute solo! Glad you included its catchy chorus.
