A friend had a gas station on a 4 corner intersection. Slowly but surely 2 other gas stations opened up! Argh?! Nope. They all did incredibly well. Don't let competition discourage your own creative ideas!!
Don't forget others will see your designs even if you create your own server unless you pay for the upgraded subscription to keep them hidden. Your own server just makes it easier for you to see your designs without sorting through every one else's designs. You can also type into Midjourney /prefer suffix and then when new_value comes up type in the aspect ratio to not have to type it in each time you want to do a prompt. To remove that suffix, just do it again and clear the value or change the aspect ratio. You can also add things like --style raw which will change your output as well.
One of those tumbler wrap stores put up over 550 listings in 34 days (that’s about 16 listings per day), they made like 50K in that month, and it’s cos they flooded the market with their listings.

It will become saturated with same designs until it becomes almost obsolete and only those big shops will make money. For god sakes, stop telling people to copy designs from others. It's not strategy that work fast or in a long run.
I'm legitimately shocked I got one review and 4 sales within 5 days of opening the store. I had no idea there was a demand for these things so thank you! Though I ran ads and only price them at a $1, this looks promising! I'm starting with just digital downloads first to see what bites.

Yes these are insane and they are making 4-5 figures in a month. Found a shop who just started on April 20 this year and they got 10k sales!! Freaked crazy!! And all they used is midjourney to make those images!!

You didn't mention anything about upscaling the image. MJ images are notoriously poor quality and these won't do well if people just upload straight from midjourney.
Ive been selling them and people have sent me photos and no issues with this! but yes I did hit upscale on Midjourney and then downloaded them from there

My computer *will not* let me access midjourney due to the "your connection is not private" error on all browsers, I researched it and it says it does that for websites where data is not encrypted properly so it's dangerous to keep your payment information there. Thoughts?
Not only is it oversaturated, but it’s not nearly as easy as these people make it sound! There’s a ton of work involved with any of these digital sales.

Im found all organically but Im sure ads help but you dont need them. And If you are not sure how then that means you dont understand etsy
for tshirts im always doing 5000x5000 just to ensure high enouhg print quality and then I worry about placing and sizing on Printify directly, these are a bit different as shirts also scale so Im always looking at placement relevant to the mockup

Does anyone know, if you create a tumbler mockup on midjourney to sell in a mockup store, how do you make the tumbler mockup so that when others purchase it, they can use the "send to back" or "backwards" button in canva to give it a wrapped look? I wanted to test out some mockups in canva of tumblers and I downloaded them as JPG and PNG and attempted to use a couple different designs to wrap around one or 3 tumblers in the mockup picture and it would just literally send it to the back and not "wrap it. I see mockup tumblers for sell on etsy all the time, so I have purchased a few and I can get my designs to wrap around theirs but not mine. Hi there! Why there's literally no one who sells AI designs on physical tumblers (POD) and a billion new shops trying to sell these digital wraps for literally 0 profit. Like there even big shops sometimes sell 300 bundles for 1$ which is absolutely ridiculous. Do you think the quality of the sublimation that small businesses do will differ from the ones that Printify provides?
yea! people love sublimation so they buy designs to sublimate with. I didnt even know what it meant before researching after seeing those shops killing it!
I am trying to get the image combined with the PNG of the tumblers. I cannot get that! it only will give me the square picture of the image over the tumblers, not the separated tumblers. I did order the PNG for Canva, any suggestions? I know this is something I am doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
Ok I have to say this I have been selling tumbler wraps for over 2 years and my sales are minimal. It’s just a sea of AI generated designs. I guarantee you will not make bank trying this. Don’t forget Etsy also charges a listing fee every time you list a product.

Etsy made some changes yesterday, so this happened to almost all Etsy sellers. Just update you shipping/delivery profile on etsy by picking a mailing service.

I didn't know you could tell exact dimensions on Midjourney. I've been typing the aspect ratio, like 16:9, and then enlarging it with a program called chaiNNer.
I tried finding what server my prompts were going to but i could never seem to find mine , so i thought i was hidden but i guess not ! thank you so much!!!

So printify makes the tumbler wraps for you and the customer buys them and printify ships it to them or they download your design and print it themselves?
They can do both! Whichever works best for them. They can buy and download the digital design and print it themselves if they have the tools at home. They can also buy from POD shops that sell tumblers. These shops use platforms like printify to print the design, make the final product and then ship the item to the customer.
ILYSM. I was thinking, "wow, its going to be hard to figure out how to get AI working for me." Then, BOOM, there you are with exact instructions on getting it all running. You're the best. When i make my first $100 on Etsy, I will send you flowers.

Just read what they say about what each subscription allows in terms of commercial use. Don't ask questions you can find the answers to yourself, that's a good life lesson.

This is a waaaay over saturated market. Also be prepared to have your designs stolen. Know from experience 😏

Yeah, I agree, I just checked the dpi on some of my ai and they are only 72 dpi. Ok for on screens, but not for print.

My Canva isn’t filling in the image after I detach the back one. Does the image have to be a png file that I try wrapping the image around?
the top file (tumblers) does need to be a PNG so it has transparency, but your main file does not need to be

Hi there! Why there's literally no one who sells AI designs on physical tumblers (POD) and a billion new shops trying to sell these digital wraps for literally 0 profit. Like there even big shops sometimes sell 300 bundles for 1$ which is absolutely ridiculous. Do you think the quality of the sublimation that small businesses do will differ from the ones that Printify provides?
I honestly don't even get what the tumbler insert is..folks do their own? OMG...
yea! people love sublimation so they buy designs to sublimate with. I didnt even know what it meant before researching after seeing those shops killing it!
I am trying to get the image combined with the PNG of the tumblers. I cannot get that! it only will give me the square picture of the image over the tumblers, not the separated tumblers. I did order the PNG for Canva, any suggestions? I know this is something I am doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
Ok I have to say this I have been selling tumbler wraps for over 2 years and my sales are minimal. It’s just a sea of AI generated designs. I guarantee you will not make bank trying this. Don’t forget Etsy also charges a listing fee every time you list a product.

It’s telling me to update shipping details in Etsy after adding printify item . How can I fix this when it’s coming from printify ?
Etsy made some changes yesterday, so this happened to almost all Etsy sellers. Just update you shipping/delivery profile on etsy by picking a mailing service.

Thanks! I have been looking for ways to make money with no repeated work load. I am a stay at home war vet suffering from PTSD and I am not really tech savvy but need some additional income or I will be force to find a job, start driving again, which causes a lot of anxiety for me. I didn't know you could tell exact dimensions on Midjourney. I've been typing the aspect ratio, like 16:9, and then enlarging it with a program called chaiNNer.
Are u just selling the png with no modifications on it to work on a tumbler?
How do you know how to size images for different things? Dumb question, I know, but this isn't my forte.

can you share the prom[ts too? I know you show them but could you put them here? I am getting better at the prompts and have created some cool stuff now but some things I am not sure yet how to get the AI to do. The highland cows is easy but getting it to put hay in their mouth not easy LOL

Is the skinny tumbler not on Printify anymore? I had to sign up for a different POD service because Printify doesn't have it in the catalog.

So printify makes the tumbler wraps for you and the customer buys them and printify ships it to them or they download your design and print it themselves?
They can do both! Whichever works best for them. They can buy and download the digital design and print it themselves if they have the tools at home. They can also buy from POD shops that sell tumblers. These shops use platforms like printify to print the design, make the final product and then ship the item to the customer.
ILYSM. I was thinking, "wow, its going to be hard to figure out how to get AI working for me." Then, BOOM, there you are with exact instructions on getting it all running. You're the best. When i make my first $100 on Etsy, I will send you flowers.

A ratio 3:2 won't necessarily give you the size you need. That's just a ratio, not size. 3:2 can be 3x2 inches, 6x4 inches, 12x8 inches....

Christina, which midjourney subscription did you purchase for this turtorial? I wasn't sure if I had to get the $30 one, or if the $10 would still work for this?
Just read what they say about what each subscription allows in terms of commercial use. Don't ask questions you can find the answers to yourself, that's a good life lesson.
