It's really cool seeing the behind the scenes when it comes to an on sight photoshoot! I feel better seeing all the trial and error it takes to get a good shot
Wild isn’t it? Commercial shoots can last for days to get a handful of solid images. No matter how good you are, time is a magic ingredient for good photos.
"For all the kids in the audience, that's a landline." GOD do I feel old. I've been wanting to do something like this with the local diner in my little town but I just haven't been able to come up with enough ideas to try and rent it out for a few hours. These are great for inspiration so thanks! Love these shots and this video.
WHAT?? You guys KILLED this. So many great ideas, awesome angles, phenomenal props, great model - all in one lil area. Incredible job. Thanks for sharing.
My favorites are the center composition one where she leans on the counter and the wide angle on the counter holding the cupcake! (I would trim off the celling a little for the latter though!)
literally all there photos were straight up BANGERS deserving of its own Instagram post. Must have been a real dilemma for you guys. killed every minute of this shoot holy fuck!
this is sick, love the edgy vibes, colors and composition. May i ask if the sort of stretched-out photos in full length like the one on 0:49 made with a 35 mm lens? I'm trying to figure out what would be the best lens to invest into and the lenses for my nikon z6 are ridiculously expensive, so need to choose right. I figured you guys love 35mm the most, but I'm trying no find what fits my style the most while also being versatile. I shoot different things, from details to portraits and editorial shoots so it's haaaard to choooose
Very good model, amazing location and high quality shots! But I have a question: why did you use the wide angle lense so often, especially at the beginning. The lines seem distorted and I don't really see how this corresponds to the 50s-diner theme. What was your thought process behind this choice?
I would have loved to see the settings you use too. I think you used the 24-70 mm? Did you use external lights or just natural light coming in from outside?
just like all of our other shoots (unless specified), we used natural light. we used a 24mm, 85mm, and 16-35mm. we generally don’t add settings to photos here because beginners tend to think that if they just copy our settings, they’ll get the same results regardless of light / setting / subject.
this is the 1dx ii because our mark iv is out of commission at the moment. we used to have a battery grip for the mark iv, but found it to be too cumbersome at weddings (the only place we really needed extra batteries), so we ended up buying several extra batteries (i think six or eight between two people) and carrying them in a bag on our persons at weddings 👍
A photo of the coffee being poured and overflowing would have been awesome, if there was a 'hunk' and his girlfriend seated, with her looking at the 'hunk'....
Nice model and cool location 👌🏼 I would have liked the last picture with the coffee but she’s distracted from another table or the phone so she looks away while pouring over. Guess that would have been a banger for me :)
give us a li’l time code of your favorite photo here 👇

we shoot with wider lenses a lot whenever we want to create an edgier feeling. this shoot especially called for that 👍
This was awesome. Thanks so much for sharing!
Super cool
these are amazing!
Wow, that was great!
3:18 was like let's make it more mango
Great video! Loved it! 😍
really really amazing guys....
I love these! Great job :)
Is amazing 🤩
This era looked so sexy, romantic and simple. I love simple.
Will you try to sell these photos on Shutterstock or similar site? Or was the shoot for a different purpose?
Thought the same thing. My immediate reaction was, how do I monetize doing a shoot like this?
You are awesome
holy shit you guys are so great.
🙏🏻

I desperately was waiting for her to spill the coffee 😅

Hey guys! Do you just have a battery grip attachment? If so, could you link which one you’re using? Thank you! Also beautiful photos as always!

this makes me want to buy a 24mm or 35mm lens

What location is this ?
Second 🥈
Which lens did they use?
mostly the 16-35mm
I wonder what kind of out of pocket costs there are to producing a shoot like this. Can you share a ballpark figure?
@@MangoStreet appreciate that! really helpful!
Nice model and cool location 👌🏼 I would have liked the last picture with the coffee but she’s distracted from another table or the phone so she looks away while pouring over. Guess that would have been a banger for me :)
